This place is really nice for my family member. The staff are super helpful and always answer our questions fast. They get three meals a day here and snacks too. There’s lots of stuff to do like card games, baking, exercise classes, karaoke, and more for the residents.

"High Costs, Low Care: A Scathing Review of Assisted Living"
Don't let your family go here! My pal lives there. It costs way too much for what they provide. I came for a visit, looked at the activity schedule, but no one was doing anything. The folks living there seemed really bored. They don't have enough workers — I only saw one person running around doing everything. The meals aren't very good, my buddy told me they often run out of what's on the menu. I noticed a bathroom was broken. I looked at the Alzheimer's area, and it's even worse! It smells like pee when you walk in. I saw some folks wandering around without shoes and looking messy. They hadn't bathed, changed clothes, or even shaved. No one was doing anything, just sitting in the living room. It's really sad that they're paying so much for this kind of care.

"Cozy but Cramped Assisted Living Space"
The person in charge at the assisted living place was super nice and even asked us to come back for a meal and some fun activities. But the room they showed us was really tiny. I don’t think a big bed would fit in there. If I lived there, I’d have to walk through the space where my roommate sleeps just to get out, and she’d have to do the same through my area to get to the bathroom. It seems like these two rooms used to be just one room. There was a really big closet, though. The rest of the space was not only small, but it also had lots of weird corners. The whole place was pretty clean and didn’t have any bad smells. The person who showed us around knew everyone’s names. The carpets could have been cleaner. The building was in a safe spot, right behind a mall, so it would be easy to go shopping. But I think the price is too high for such a small space.

"Brookdale: Untrained Staff, Neglect & Shady Practices Lead to Tragedies"
This facility is awful! Please don't subject a dear one to this place. The staff here are underpaid and lacking proper training. The account keeping is also questionable. My parent tragically passed away here due to neglect. They failed to deliver on their promised services. The numerous lawsuits against Brookdale aren't surprising - their greed is obvious. Their employees undergo terrible pay conditions and there's a never-ending cycle of staff turnover!

"Nice Place, But Pricey and No Vacancies"
I visited Brookdale Salinas to check it out for someone I care about. The place seemed really nice. However, it felt like it cost too much for what you get. Also, they didn’t have any spots open at the time we needed one, so we had to look elsewhere.

"Top-notch assisted living with great care and wonderful amenities"
I loved the tour and my dad was really happy with the care. His experience there was amazing in every possible way. It felt super fancy, like staying at a luxurious hotel or a really nice vacation spot. Everything was just incredible. Plus, he enjoyed the food and the bed was really comfy. The staff were all really nice and did a great job.
