"Mixed Experience at Cogir Assisted Living Facility"
Cogir has made efforts to meet my mom's dietary needs, but they struggle with fully supporting plant-based gluten-free diets. As they receive more requests, they may improve. Moving in was straightforward and they provided good support. However, their ambassador program appears non-existent, so ensure you can assist your parent during this transition. Sometimes, it's hard to get a quick response from the staff.

"Safe and Reliable Assisted Living for Elderly Loved Ones"
My mom lives at Cogir of Stock Ranch. In my view, it's a great place for her. I feel she's safe there. She can be more critical than me, depending on her mood. She turns 97 next month and needs more care. We manage costs easily with her long-term insurance. Families should check it out; first impressions are great.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
Overall, they're okay. The physical therapy place isn't ready. There's no staff for it. The food is alright. My mom says they often run out of things, but there's a new chef now, so we hope that gets better. The activities are okay too.

At Cogir, everyone treated us warmly, like family. Though my cousin stayed briefly, the staff cared about him. The place is beautiful, and the food is delicious with lots of choices.

"Brookdale: Nice, But Needed Cleaning"
I visited Brookdale for my mom. It seemed nice, but was kind of messy. It looked like they were fixing it up, which could be the reason. But it didn't look too good. So, I picked a different place for my mom.

"Great care for my dad!"
My dad just moved in here, and everything's been going well. The staff are really helpful with his daily stuff, and I'm happy with how they're taking care of him. I visited him recently, and he seemed to really like his new place, which is what matters most to me. Also, they've got a nice dining room and lots of activities for everyone.

"Great care and value for my dad's comfort."
This is a great place for my dad. The staff is kind and attentive. The community is clean and pleasant. The food looks good, though it could be a bit better. There are activities for my dad, but he's not joining them right now. I would recommend this place for its care and value.

"Great care for my mom"
I’m really happy with the care my mom gets here. The community is always clean. My mom isn’t totally happy with the staff, maybe because they seem a bit short-staffed. But I’m glad she’s getting more involved in activities. She wishes there were more things to do, though. We would recommend this place to other families looking for great care for their loved ones.

"Limited Space; Quick to Assign to Memory Care"
The rooms here are pretty tiny. Any mention of dementia, and they insist that our Mom needs to be in the memory care section. Although my Mom does have mild cognitive impairment along with mild dementia, they refuse her access to assisted living. If her situation was more severe, I think this would be a great place for her.

"Cozy Comfort!"
The meals need improvement. I've eaten with my mom a few times, and the food is bland. The ribs were mostly fat, which is disappointing. However, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Her apartment is cozy and clean. They mentioned a welcoming committee before we moved in, but no one has reached out yet.

"Great care and kind staff; happy with the choice!"
We placed a loved one here 1.5 weeks ago, and we’re very pleased with the care and the staff’s kindness. The facility is very welcoming and handles memory issues with great care. My loved one needs all the services provided, so the cost is higher, but it’s still better than most places we checked. After a hospital stay and a more expensive skilled nursing facility in Roseville, we’re really happy with this place so far.

"Wonderful Staff and Caring Environment"
This place is awesome. The staff is amazing. They treated our father (and us, too!) with kindness and respect. He loved the people, the activities, and the food (though we thought the food was bad. I had salad twice that was limp and old, and the dressings seemed full of sugar. Service was always super slow, too). Sadly, our father passed away. I’m so glad he stayed here and enjoyed many good times and was treated so well while alive. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing assisted living, retirement, or even hospice care.

"Perfect place for a smooth transition and true comfort"
I can't think of any ways to improve Brookdale Stock Ranch Road. The staff have been super friendly and caring. They've really gone out of their way to introduce my mother-in-law to new people. Since she's German, they've connected her with other German residents. They always answer any questions we have. My mother-in-law loves it here. She’s adjusted really well and feels comfortable with the other residents. Her studio apartment is just the right size for her, and she’s really made it feel like home.

My mom is really happy at Brookdale Stock Ranch Road. The only thing I didn’t like was that they said Walgreens would deliver her medicine there, but that didn’t happen. They did find a solution for us though. Other than that, everything has been great.

"Limited Availability, Great Food, Suitable for Independent Living"
This place seemed good, but we couldn't see the rooms because they didn't have any available. They don't offer memory care, and the building is better for folks who can live more on their own or with a bit of help. I heard the food here is really good though!

"Early Days, Positive Staff Impressions"
My mom hasn’t been at the assisted living place for a full month yet, but I’m really sure about one thing: the staff members have been amazing. I’m super impressed by them. When it comes to giving the place a rating, it’s a bit early for me to say. Mom’s getting used to her new home, and the staff are just beginning to learn about her too. I think I’ll need about two more months before I can give an honest rating of the facility. For now, I’d say it’s pretty good.

"My Short Stay at Emeritus"
My short time at Emeritus was nice. Even though my brother, who is 61, couldn’t join because of his age, I was really happy with the staff and the director. She was super helpful with my brother’s dementia situation. I’m sad that my brother couldn’t stay because of a corporate rule, but the nurses and staff were all very professional.

The folks at Emeritus at Citrus Gardens have done an amazing job. We are so happy with them. Their staff is fantastic and more than enough. They genuinely care about people, not just in terms of medical needs but personally too. We don't know what we would have done without them! I'm almost in tears just thinking about how thankful we are!

"Exceptionally friendly staff, minor communication improvements suggested."
The folks at Emeritus are super nice. I'm not sure if they teach their workers to really know each resident, but they sure seem to. Plus, they treat my dad really well. I just wish the caregivers would talk a bit more when they switch shifts, but that's pretty much the only thing I'd change. Otherwise, they're really great.

"Potential but Lacks Organization in Assisted Living Services"
This place appears to be having trouble with its assisted living program. It feels more like it's meant for senior living, not people in need of specific assistance. When we moved in, there was no ADA-compliant bathroom. Additionally, there seems to be an issue with getting medication organized and delivered on time. I feel as though they're new to this whole assisted living thing and are currently overwhelmed. But, there's a good chance they'll eventually figure things out. On the bright side, they offer pretty good value for the money. It's cheaper than the last place where my sister-in-law stayed.

"Perfect place for mom; warm, caring staff at Emeritus!"
We couldn't be happier with our choice for mom! She’s been welcomed with open arms by friendly and helpful staff and residents. She has daily chances to socialize and make new friends. The meals are delicious with lots of choices whenever she’s hungry. From the first visit, we felt "at home" and knew it was the right place for her. We’re so glad she can stay here and not have to move again. Thanks to Cathy Rueger and all the staff for creating such a warm and caring atmosphere at Emeritus.

"Decent Facility but Criticisms with Long Assistance Wait and Food"
On first look, this assisted living facility seems pretty great. But everything seems to have changed since they got new owners. It's now common to wait a long time for help with things like getting dressed or using the restroom, often without any heads-up about the wait. This can make residents feel overlooked. The food is okay if processed, pre-frozen meals don't bother you. They offer many options and always have a fresh salad and fruit bar. But it might not be the right place for you if you're worried about eating healthy, unprocessed food. Since the new owners arrived, the aides seem to do everything, even manage medications. They do allow pets for an extra fee and have lots of activities. Sadly, there's no space for a community garden, no pool or workshop for arts and crafts. There's also no gym, but they do have regular exercise classes. Some are led by residents or just a workout video. Others are taught by a professional, but that's been rare lately.

"They’ve been great; excellent activities, food, and responsive staff."
Here's a simplified version of the review: They’ve been great. The move was hard because she left her home. She enjoys many activities and the food. I've eaten there too, and she’s happy with it. The dining room is beautiful, with cloth napkins, and open all day except for a short break. She can choose anything from the menu anytime. The staff impressed us, and she has her own little kitchen. She made friends at casino night and bingo. They respond quickly to needs; they fixed her heater right away. They’re very kind and help with groceries.

"Super clean, friendly staff, many activities, no bathtub only shower."
This place is super clean and looks brand new. Cathy gave us a great tour and shared lots of info. The staff was very friendly, greeting everyone by name. There are many activities, and the restaurant looks nice too. Each one-bedroom apartment has a stove and fridge. The only downside is there’s no bathtub, just a shower.

"Memory care setup raises concerns, but good light and layout"
I was deciding between this place and Sunrise. I chose this one because it's all on one level, which I preferred. They have a special area for memory care, but I'm a little worried because everyone with memory issues stays together. I understand the reason, but it might be scary for my mom since she's only in the early stages. Apart from that, I liked how bright the building is with plenty of natural light. One downside is they don't allow pets. I asked about it, and they said it's for safety reasons.

"Awesome yard and private rooms in comforting assisted living facility"
This place has a big, awesome yard that would meet his preference. Each room is private and comes with its own bathroom. The good part is, we can decorate the room however we fancy. They've got these cool things called 'Memory Lane neighborhoods' with four of them in total. There are several rooms to kick back, chill out and watch TV. I noticed that the residents were pretty active. They dress nice, showing that they're well-taken care of. There's a good mix of men and women to chat and bond with.
