Our family visited the assisted living facility in person, and right away, we didn't have a positive first impression. The place felt dark, dirty, and in need of significant updates.

"Happy and Positive Experience for Loved Ones in Assisted Living"
My loved one is happy here, and it's been a good experience for us overall. They really enjoy the food, which offers choices for every meal. They get to pick which meals they want to attend each day. The apartments come with a full kitchen. There's a communal washer and dryer conveniently located in the same building for everyone to use.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Facility"
The place looks nice, but there are quite a few problems. They said a neighbor would help my family member settle in, but no one did. We had no air conditioning for two whole weeks. The building seems old, and the workers don’t really talk to the families much. Still, it’s a pretty place with good choices for meal times, and they offer care for all different needs, from living on your own to help with memory loss. Some of the staff know what they’re doing, but others don’t.

"Spread Out Living Space Unfavorably Impacts Community Experience"
I visited Brookdale, and it seemed nice overall. But, I didn't like how it was set up. There's one tall building where people live, and another for eating and activities. I worried I'd hardly leave my room with so much walking. I wanted something more compact.

"Unhelpful staff, Unwelcoming Environment"
The staff here was impolite. Instead of offering help, they suggested that my mom would fare better in a nursing home. They didn't even bother showing us around. They were dismissive of us just because my mom requires special care for a wound, even though we told them it's well-managed. I definitely would not recommend this place for anyone's loved ones.

I visited this place recently, and everything went well. The staff did a great job explaining things. It wasn’t right for our family, but it’s worth checking out if you’re interested.

"Clean, friendly, but not the right fit for my grandparents."
My grandparents stayed here briefly. We learned after they moved in that they couldn't care for my grandpa. We've been waiting for a response from the office about billing issues, so I gave it three stars. The place is clean, staff are friendly, and the food is good. But it wasn't the right fit for them.
