"Magnolia Court: Caring Staff, Slow Service, Limited Activities"
I recommend Magnolia Court. The staff truly care about the residents. Nurses get to know each person and check in daily. The food is good, but service is slow. The owner is approachable, but not being on-site affects firsthand awareness. They advertise activities like exercise classes and worship services, but these are just videos in the TV room. Fun activities are challenging because most residents prefer eating, napping, and gossiping. Not the management's fault.

"Convenient Location and Affordable, Perfect for My Needs"
This place is really nice. It's exactly what I was looking for. I would totally tell others to check it out. I chose this community because it's close to my family and the price was right.

"Limited Activities and Unreliable Staff in Memory Care"
The memory care section needs more things to do during the day instead of just letting folks wander or watch TV all day. The food they serve isn't the greatest. It's tough to reach someone in memory care directly. Assisted care is alright, but I wouldn't suggest Magnolia Court for memory care. The staff changes frequently, making it hard for residents to feel comfortable. If you're seeking memory care, you might want to look elsewhere.

"Low standard care and poor management at assisted living facility"
Make sure to find out the staff turnover rate at this place, especially the number of times the head of the facility has changed in the last three years. We're taking our mom out of there as quickly as we can. The basic services we're paying for, like bathing, dressing, and basic care aren't being provided. The current head of the facility is just blaming the residents for these issues instead of communicating any problems to the families. This place seems to be missing some basic morals and values. Also they don't seem to fix anything that's broken or unusable.

"Facility's Care and Organization Lacking Despite Good Features"
You need to look beyond the features and check out the quality of care here. The first thing I noticed was that the level of care they offer is not worth the money you pay. The medical team here seems to be in a mess and doesn't seem to be trained well. You have to double-check every medical order or change to make sure they're being taken care of properly. Additionally, their record-keeping is not complete. The new boss talks a big game but doesn't really do anything. Even when you bring up issues in written form, they never respond.

"Assisted Living Tour Review"
Our family visited in person, had a good time. Staff were really professional. The place felt like a cruise ship on land, a bit too much for our loved one.

"Hope for Improvement Amidst Facility Changes"
At first, I thought this place was top-notch, like a solid five out of five. But things have shaken up a bit—they’ve got a new boss running the show, and it’s like everything’s getting a makeover, from the building to the people working here. Now, if you’re just living here with some help, you’re getting all the eyes on you. But if you’re someone who’s struggling to remember things, it feels like you’re not getting the same level of care. That doesn’t seem right to me. And about the fun stuff they say they’ve got? Well, I haven’t really seen it happening. Sure, there’s a bunch of excitement in the assisted living part—they even bring in some cool shows. But over in the memory care wing? It’s pretty quiet. I wish they’d stir things up a bit more over there. The new director? She’s only been here a short while, and I haven’t had the chance to meet her. But we’re crossing our fingers that she’ll start making things better around here soon.

"Magnolia Court Review Summary"
Magnolia Court is going through a big change with lots of new staff. The administrator is new too. Some of the nurses and the owner come from other states, so they’re not always around. It would be better if the staff were more consistent, especially the higher-ups. Communication can be tricky because the memory care unit doesn’t have its own phone. To talk to someone there, you have to call the main line and then get transferred back to the memory care staff, which doesn’t always work smoothly. On the bright side, they take good care of the residents. They help with medications, hygiene, dressing, and bathing. My loved one’s room is always clean, and the staff pay close attention to their needs. Plus, they offer free transportation to the clinic.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Care Decline and Attention Issues"
At first, our family member liked it there. The people were nice. But later, problems popped up. The help they needed wasn't consistent. Also, they weren't careful with rules.

"Welcoming and Convenient Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
We looked at a few places and found Magnolia Ct to be the friendliest, cleanest, and most convenient for us. The price was similar to others, but those places weren't as nice. They're fixing things up, and it's starting to look good. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful, though maintenance took a while to fix our bathroom door after we asked several times. Laundry gets done regularly, and the meals are good. There are lots of activities for those who want to join in. They handle all medication and even have a hairstylist who comes regularly, plus nail clipping for a fee. I wish they'd remind residents to brush their teeth and help with shaving. Also, they could do better with monitoring the oxygen machines; our loved one often disconnects his and loses parts.

"Welcoming, caring staff and tasty meals."
I recently visited Magnolia Court in Vacaville, CA, searching for a place for my mom. I wasn’t sure what to expect or what to look for, but I knew we needed help. When I first entered the building, I was a bit hesitant, but it felt welcoming and very clean. There was soft music playing in the background, which was soothing, and the reception staff was very warm. The residents I saw looked calm, and I chuckled, thinking, "What were you expecting?" A woman came out to meet me, and she had such a sweet demeanor that I felt comfortable right away. She, along with the other staff members, was informative, reassuring, caring, patient, and so helpful to me. The family atmosphere and professionalism at Magnolia Court made us feel at home. My family and I were guests several times in their dining hall, and I have to say, the meals were very tasty. They offer many activities and social opportunities, which seem well-planned. My heartfelt thanks to the owner for her loving spirit and to the entire staff for treating us with such care and always smiling. I would highly recommend Magnolia Court for a loved one.
