"Byron Park: Great Staff, Uninviting Atmosphere, Unhappy Residents"
While the staff and facility of Byron Park were excellent, it wasn't a good place for my mom to live. The actual experience didn't match the sales pitch we got. The activities were aimed at people less energetic and able than my mom. Most people in the dining area were from the assisted living group, not folks living on their own. The more active, independent people had their own clique and weren't very welcoming. Moving anywhere is rough, but this move was particularly tough. My mom's been unhappy every day she's been there. After just a month, she made up her mind to leave. Byron Park wasn't the right fit for her. I've heard whispers that many residents are planning to move out this month. I'm not sure what's going on amongst everyone there, but the atmosphere feels unfriendly. Other residents complained to me about rude comments. I feel like the staff could do a better job introducing the active residents to each other. It seemed like my mom had to figure out how to fit into the community on her own. We were promised 'ambassadors' - folks who share interests with new residents, eat a few meals with them, and introduce them to the others. But that just didn't happen.

"Great place for loved ones"
My mom is well taken care of at this community. The staff is super friendly and caring. She enjoys the meals a lot and likes that there's always something different. They always let me know how she's doing. Plus, they encourage her to join in on activities to keep busy. I think other families would be happy here too because it's a good deal and they really care.

"Better Options Needed"
The place was okay, but it didn't suit my brother. When we visited, the staff was nice and professional. We looked around the whole place. It was handy to have a list of options from A Place For Mom. But in the end, it just wasn't the right fit for us.

"What We Were Hoping For!"
My sister has improved a lot since she came to this community. She eats really well here now, and her room is always clean. We genuinely like it here, and it seems my sister does too.

"Wonderful Staff, Wonderful Community"
My dad is at this community and he's doing well. The staff are great to talk to and they give my dad the care he needs. The place is nice and clean, and they keep it well-maintained. Everything is great here.

"Bright Facility, Dated Memory Care"
She acted very professionally and knew what she was doing. The facility is pleasant, but it seems a little old-fashioned. Unfortunately, the memory care unit lacks a bright and cheerful atmosphere, which concerns me about my mother's stimulation.

"Professional staff but facility might not suit all needs"
She acted very professionally and showed she knew her job well. The place is well-kept but it looks kind of old. The area where they look after people with memory problems didn't seem very happy or energetic. I'm not sure if my mom would get the level of activity she needs here.

"Clean, friendly, and good communication"
I think they're doing a good job. The place is very clean. The staff is very friendly and always willing to talk to me. I haven't had any problems. It's hard to rate the value because I don't know what other places charge, but I think it's decent. I can't rate the activities because we usually visit during dinner time, but they seem okay. Overall, I think they do a nice job.

"Excellent staff, great at meeting needs of dementia patients"
I really like the med tech on during the day, Iva. She is super wonderful! The others are great too, but Iva makes sure everything gets done right, and I think very highly of her. She leads the caregivers during her shift and gives the medications. The activities are mostly for dementia patients. They do a lot of sing-alongs, which my husband loves. Sometimes, they bring in special entertainment, but not too often. The food is simple but good. Since my husband is in hospice care, they puree his food because he has trouble eating. I’m really happy with this place and love it. It’s simple, not fancy, but clean. The memory care staff take great care of everyone, just like you’d want. The small unit my husband is on fits his needs perfectly.

"Review of Campbell Village Alzheimer's / Memory Care in Campbell, CA"
I was really impressed by the staff's professionalism, the facility, and the activities for both assisted living and memory care residents. The price was reasonable. I'm considering this place or another similar one. They require a minimum stay of 30 days for respite care.

"Great home with friendly staff and clean facilities"
It's a nice home with friendly, caring staff. They always answer the phone quickly. Mom has been there for a few weeks and is settling in well. The place is clean, and the staff is helpful. They offer activities for residents. I highly recommend this place.

"Improvement needed in communication and activities"
The place is pretty tidy and some caregivers are quite friendly. They definitely need to improve in some areas, like having more fun the residents. The meals aren't bad, I'd rate them a four. But a problem is, there doesn't seem to be anyone who really understands the whole picture. They should work on their communication a lot. There's this one lady who seems to know the ropes and could answer more than the head of the place.

"Great Staff and Clean, Fun Community"
The place is very clean and has lots of fun activities for the residents. Even though it’s an older building, it’s still a great community. I tried the food, and it was okay. The staff is amazing and there are always enough of them to take care of any problems that come up.

"Disappointing Assisted Living: Limited Amenities and Small Rooms"
This place is kinda old and they only have studios. There's no doctors or nurses around if something goes wrong. The rooms are small and feel like you're boxed in. Not a good fit for my mom.

"Top pick for future move—well-kept facility with positive reviews"
Campbell Village is our top pick. The place looks well-run and well-kept. The hospice nurse and caregiver both had positive things to say about it. The care provided is good, and the staff didn’t have any major concerns. The room is quite big and includes a patio and a private bathroom. If my father needs to move, this is our first choice.

"Great place, but pricey for wheelchairs on 2nd floor."
This place is really nice. The people who work here are friendly and kind. But, there's a rule that says wheelchairs can't go on the second floor. Also, the rooms on the first floor are too expensive for us. We thought this would be the best choice for us.

"Nice place - studio apartments with full bathrooms"
This place is really nice. The studio apartments have full bathrooms. It might feel a bit tight with a double bed, though. One concern is that she would need to watch her diet and pick the right foods for her diabetes. They can't give insulin, which could be a problem later on.
