"Friendly Staff, Not Ideal for Mom"
The people there were super nice and gave us a great tour. The place seemed alright, and they answered all our questions. But, it wasn't exactly what we wanted for my mom.

"Pleasant Place with Helpful Staff but Location Not Ideal"
Our visit to Carlton Senior Living went smoothly. The place was really nice and clean. The staff was super helpful and answered all our questions quickly. We didn't pick this community because my aunt has lived in Pleasant Hill her whole life and wanted to move somewhere else.

"Top Choice for Fun and Comfort!"
This place is my favorite out of the three. The location is great for me, the staff is friendly, and there are lots of fun activities. I felt good here, plus they offer short-term rentals up to 90 days.

"Lackluster Tour Experience"
This place is unlike the other one in Downtown Pleasant Hill. During my tour, there wasn't much interaction, and the people seemed different. The food wasn't to my liking, and the tour guide didn't provide much information about the community. It felt like they didn't care about visitors like me.

"Beautiful Assisted Living, High Cost"
This place is beautiful, with lots of activities and balconies. But it’s pricey.

"Smooth Stay at Chateau Pleasant Hill, No Issues or Complaints"
She has moved back home now. Everything went smoothly while she was at Chateau Pleasant Hill, and we had no issues or complaints during her stay.

"Caring Staff and Communication Improvements"
They need to reply to emails faster, which is my main concern. I also wish they had more payment choices. But they’re friendly with patients and truly care about residents. The staff is sincere.

"Smooth Move-In Process with Minor Medication Hiccup; Enjoyable Experience Overall"
They did well helping us move in smoothly. The only issue we've had is getting all the medicine authorized, but we can't do much about that. Overall, she's really liking it there.

"Great Staff and Fantastic Service at Chateau II"
My sister's room in Chateau II was awesome because of the kind, skilled, and quick team that worked there. Everybody assisting from the dining room workers to the nifty 'Directors of First Impressions', the folks who took care of her and the medical staff, even all the bosses were amazing! You oughta know, all the 'Chateaus' are really the best places, we're lucky to be part of their neighborhoods.

"Disappointed with Chateau II, staff and care lacking."
My sister's room at Chateau II was nice, and the staff seemed helpful. But, some things weren't great. The waiters in the dining room were nice, and the people at the front desk were welcoming. The caregivers and medical staff were okay too. But, overall, the staff and care weren't as good as we hoped. We thought Chateau II would be great like the other Chateaus, but it wasn't. We're not as happy here as we expected.

"A Few Bumps in the Road"
The place is really clean, and the staff is pretty friendly. The price is about average, maybe a bit better than some others. They could improve communication with my loved one—like telling her about extra charges before doing things. The bill had a few surprises. But they’re great with activities, and the food is really good. We were on the waiting list, and they offered us a room on the more expensive side. We decided to wait for a less expensive room, but it’s been a few months, and no one has moved. I wonder if they’re eager to move her to the cheaper side now that she’s here. Also, she doesn’t always get her medication when she wants because of the set schedule. Overall, we’re happy, just a few bumps.

"Great Facility with Friendly Staff, But Needs Better Scheduling"
Overall, the facility is in great shape, so I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. The property is well-maintained but not what I'd call "perfect." The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus, but some care services are better than others. Sometimes, things are done carelessly. I hope the entertainment and scheduling committees improve. Event notices often come with only a day or two of notice, which doesn't give residents or their families enough time to plan. Also, the event times don't allow residents enough time to eat and get ready, like having dinner at 6pm and an event starting at 6:30pm.

"Active and Clean Independent Living Recommendation"
Lori was really helpful. She understood that their place wasn't what I wanted and suggested I check out their Independent Living spot, Chateau Broadway. It's super clean and busy. Everyone I saw seemed active and healthy.

A Place For Mom Customer
"Affordable, but limited care options; suitable for less independent seniors."
I liked this place because they only have one studio available in both buildings. However, I don't think she can live alone in her own room. She needs more care, and I'm worried that it will cost more than we can afford with all the services she needs.
