Carmel Home

"Excellent care and a safe, clean environment for loved ones"
My mom lived at The Carmel House in Woodland Hills for 18 months. The staff took great care of her with kindness and compassion, and the place was always clean. I felt my mom was safe there. The owners and staff really worked hard to meet everyone's needs. Even though my mom was in the late stages of Alzheimer’s, I believe she felt the caring atmosphere around her.

"Great caregivers, disagreeable billing staff at Sadring home"
The team at Sadring home did a great job looking after our mom. But, we didn't like the folks handling the bills and bookkeeping.

"High Costs and Complicated Fees at Assisted Living Facility"
The place seemed like it met our needs, but they wanted $5,500 per month, which we can't afford. After negotiating, they lowered it to $5,000, but they insisted on taking half of the monthly rent for the two months until June 1, when we could move in. They said this wouldn't count toward the first month's rent. We're not sure if the room will still be available by the end of April, so we're taking a chance.

"Assisted Living Delivers Friendly Atmosphere Despite Neighborhood Concerns"
This place is really nice, even though the neighborhood isn't the best. The owner and her staff were super helpful. She took the time to talk to me and explain how they could help me bring my dad here. The house has wooden floors, which is cool. It's not too crowded, which makes it feel more like home. Plus, there are two cozy indoor sitting areas, which are really nice.

"Friendly and attentive care"
We moved my mother-in-law here about a month ago. She has made friends quickly and loves the company. The caregivers are amazing and very attentive. They notice everything and handle it right away. The place is clean and the food is tasty. They've even gotten my mother-in-law to join in on exercises and karaoke, and she loves it!

"Mom is Well Cared For with Warm, Loving Staff"
The care here is really good. They offer activities, but it’s tough to keep people with serious dementia entertained. They always have things going on like karaoke, dancing, and physical therapy. It's hard to find activities that work well for people with Alzheimer's. My mom lives in one of their homes for people with severe Alzheimer's. They take care of her needs and are very warm and loving. It's a lot better compared to other places she has been. Overall, it’s a great place for her.
