"Good place for family members needing care."

I think it's a good place to live for your family member who needs help.

"Appalling Neglect and Discretion at Assisted Living Facility Unmasked"

If you're thinking of moving a relative here, reconsider. My sister and mother have endured terrible experiences for the last ten months. Hidden cameras in Mom's apartment revealed this place's horrors. Despite numerous calls, pleas for help go unanswered, forcing us to personally attend to our loved one. It makes us wonder, what are we paying for?! Residents dealing with dementia and Alzheimer's, supposed to be housed separately, are muddled in with everyone else. They disrupt peaceful living with loud shouts, unexpected visits, inappropriate behavior, unwelcome demands, sudden aggression, and offensive language. Billing here is a joke. You'll be charged for services not provided, and when you request a refund, they blatantly ignore you. To add to the list, harm caused by neglect, such as severe dehydration leading to hospitalization, is frequent. Moreover, the facility's administration displays an alarming lack of compassion towards ailing residents and their concerned families. Medication errors are rampant. Despite such grave mistakes, the staff continues to administer medicines haphazardly. Inquiries and grievances go ignored by the administration. If they choose to answer, their responses are condescending and derogatory. Perseverance to demand appropriate care may lead to accusations and threats of eviction. Housekeeping is inefficient. They dampen your carpet with dirty water daily and clean the bathrooms inadequately, which means you have to clean the rooms yourself. Staff theft is an issue. From supplies to residents' valuables, numerous items go missing mysteriously. There is insufficient supervision during activities. Our mom, who's wheelchair-bound, was assaulted twice by another resident without any intervention or first-aid by the facility. These incidents only hint at the real issues here. It's a disgrace for the owner and management to let it be this way!

"Nice community but out of our budget and location"

I liked this community when I visited. It was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful with my questions. However, the location wasn't perfect, and it was out of our budget, so we had to look elsewhere.

"Great views, clean, caring staff, and tasty, healthy food."

My mother moved into City View a few months ago and loves it. The staff genuinely cares about the residents and is always looking for ways to improve each person's experience. My mother enjoys the rooftop views of Los Angeles and the view from her room. She is also happy with how clean and well-kept City View is. I’ve had many meals there with her, and the food is tasty, healthy, and well-prepared. They pay close attention to each resident’s dietary needs.

"Great care with a stunning view and friendly staff"

My loved one is in the memory care unit, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is just okay, but they are working with me on my loved one’s dietary needs. She enjoys the activities. They do a great job keeping the place clean. Plus, there’s a rooftop area with an amazing view of the whole city. I recommend this community.

"Kind staff, but mom wants to leave."

My mom doesn’t want to stay there. She keeps trying to go home, but she doesn't understand that she can’t. The staff is doing their best to be kind and helpful. They are trying to help me find ways to keep her calm. They have her doing activities, and she likes the food.

"Clean, Friendly Assisted Living with Activities"

I visited this place for care, and it was pleasant, but not exactly what we wanted. The community was clean and well-maintained, and they had enjoyable activities for residents. I’d suggest it to other families.

"Nice appearance, but high cost for living there."

The building and apartments look nice, but they're quite expensive.

"Quiet Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"

Things have been okay for my mother-in-law so far. We're not completely satisfied with everything, but we're waiting to see if things improve. I think the staff should be more patient and understanding of her needs. The community is very quiet, not much going on. I'd like to see my mother-in-law be more active and social with other residents. The food needs improvement, with healthier choices. Communication is the biggest issue with the staff. I might recommend it in the future.
