"Beware: Unprofessional Environment with Poor Care!"
This facility isn't what you're looking for. They're committed to keeping their real actions a secret from families. Their workers are not professional and lack the experience needed to work with older people. I've spotted cockroaches in the kitchen and rooms, with no action taken to resolve the issue. The environment is entirely unprofessional and lacks care.

My wife stayed here and everything was good. The staff were nice and helped her with whatever she needed. She liked the food and enjoyed doing activities. It was a great experience, and I'd tell anyone to go here.

"Great staff and convenient location"
I would recommend this community to anyone. The staff has been great to my father and they are very responsive. It is reasonably priced and in a good location with the hospital across the street. With only about 100 residents, it’s a smaller place.

"Unexpected Fees Dampen Otherwise Positive Experience"
I thought everything was good until they added a $4,400 fee for entertainment along with the $6,250 monthly charges. I'll search elsewhere!

"A Lovely Community!"
This community is really nice and beautiful. It’s a bit farther away than I’d prefer, but it’s clean and has lots of fun activities. The staff are friendly and helpful.

"Subpar Care and Communication at Coronado Retirement Village"
Coronado Retirement Village was a disappointment. Despite its high costs, the service and care provided were substandard to say the least. During my grandpa's birthday, he had to use the restroom. He pushed the call button yet there was no immediate response. I observed a complete absence of empathy among their staff, many of whom seemed young and only interested in their salaries. On more than one occasion, I would visit and use the back entrance without signing in. I would then stay with him for an hour or even two, without any staff dropping by. Additionally, he fell several times with no immediate assistance. He would be left alone on the ground for an unreasonable duration. No efforts were made to involve him in any activities either. This week, we have decided to move him to another facility in hope for better care and understanding. .

"Institutional Feel"
I went there on Wednesday, June 3. The hallways and building seemed a bit too institutional for my dad.

"Heartwarming care with personalized touches and welcoming atmosphere"
My parents have been at Coronado Retirement Village for a month. One special example of their care is how they helped my dad with his love for making fruit cakes. When they learned about this, they let him join the kitchen staff to bake fruit cakes. They even started a class for other residents to learn how to make them too. This shows how they truly get to know the residents and make their experience special. It has really touched my heart. Finding a good place for my parents was tough, but they welcomed us warmly, making it a wonderful experience.

"Review of Assisted Living Facility in Pleasant Park, CA"
I visited this place with my parents, and they liked most of it. The dining room had big windows with a wonderful view of the park and the bridge. There was no air conditioning, but it was a pleasant day. The rooms were small to mid-sized. The cost seemed similar to other places. They had a nice gym with equipment for physical therapy that many residents used. The biggest downside was the location, as it was far from home for daily visits.

"Neat and Well-Managed Senior Living Facility"
This place is neat, vibrant, and offers laundry services at small monthly cost. Certain hallways smelled pretty strongly of cleaning supplies during my visit. They have quite a few activities for everyone. The people working here are friendly and behave well. Their outside areas are clean, seem safe, and well kept up. They serve food all day, and even family can join for meals. They can handle residents in different stages, from retirement to needing lots of help, and even those with memory problems. They handle medications, too. The contracts are for one month at a time, and can be ended with 30 days notice. All in all, I liked this place.
