"Inconsistent care and lack of condolences at Crescendo Assisted Living"
My dad stayed at Crescendo for less than a year before he passed away. During his time there, they went through three directors of memory care. At first, the staff was nice and attentive, but later they brought in less than great staff. When my dad died, I didn't receive many condolences from them. I had planned to move him before he passed because of the lack of consistency.

"Responsive Staff and Pleasant Spaces, Some Room for Improvement"
The activities were okay, but my dad didn't love them (he's picky). We had a few small issues with the care, so we gave it 4 stars. Best: The staff was quick to help, and he liked the button he could press for assistance. Meal times were flexible, and everyone was friendly. The patio and indoor areas were nice, which was really important to us. Worst: I think they forgot to wash his clothes on laundry day. His room didn't have much furniture.

"I toured and found it big, staff friendly."
I toured this place and found the staff to be nice and friendly. They answered all my questions and explained everything in detail. It’s a two-story building with memory care on the second floor, but I didn’t like that he wouldn’t have access to the garden. The facility was big and had a lot of turns, which I think would overwhelm my husband. I recommend families tour it before deciding.

"Happy Resident, Happy Visits"
The new management team at Crescendo Senior Living of Placentia really cares about seniors. I visit often, both in assisted living and memory care. In memory care, the staff shows amazing passion and love for my friend. Their patience is incredible, and I have great respect for them. There are always activities, lots of laughter, and the staff connect well with the residents. My friend is so much happier here than where she was before! I'm glad she moved; now my visits are always enjoyable.

"Inspection of Assisted Living Facility Under New Management, Meridian"
Visited here. They're in the middle of a makeover. Meridian just bought them out, so any reviews before spring 2016 are about the former management. Uses a weird system to decide extra costs for stuff like showers, getting dressed, medications, and so on.

"Mom loves it here!"
The caregivers are amazing. They always check on the residents. They are awesome. The location is nearby too. There’s a good variety of food. The hairdresser will come to your room to wash, cut, and style your hair if you’re bedbound. The inner courtyard is quiet and peaceful.
