"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
I’d recommend looking elsewhere. My mom didn’t have a great experience, although others we spoke to did. Considering what’s available in the area, they’re probably your best option. The common areas are really clean, but the private rooms could be better. The care was decent, but they kept adding extra costs, which got frustrating. The staff is friendly, and the food is good. However, the activities seem more suited for fully able-bodied individuals, not quite ready for assisted living.

"Lovely Setting with Cozy Rooms, Large Patio Limited to Few"
The assisted living facility's beautiful grounds left a great first impression. We were warmly greeted, gave us a tour, offered cookies, and lots of swag. The facility itself was spacious and clean. However, the rooms and kitchens were a bit small. Notably, the outdoor patio door was only available in the largest rooms.

"Convenient Care and Informative Tour at Assisted Living Facility"
We toured the place and it was really nice. They showed us a private apartment where someone can come to check on her every hour, depending on how much care she needs. They answered our questions and gave us lots of information to read over.

"Negligence and Lack of Care Reported at Assisted Living Facility"
The building looks nice, but it's run very poorly. The meals are bad, and the workers don't seem to care much about their duties. They didn't give my grandma her medicine for two days, even though they said they did. I checked the book where they sign off after giving medicines, and it was already signed off for the evening and next morning. But when we counted her pills, there were two extra. If we hadn't been visiting her all the time, she wouldn't have received her medicine. This wasn't the only time they wrongly said a resident had gotten their medicine. My grandma fell and ended up in the hospital. The staff only called one person on the emergency contact list, someone they knew didn't always have cell service. They didn't bother to call the other emergency contacts. This happened on a Friday night, and the message wasn't received until Saturday morning. My grandma sadly passed away at 7 AM, before any of us could get there. She died all alone. Despite all the family members visiting her frequently at the facility. The staff knew who we were and that we lived out in the country. They knew to call all emergency contacts, but they didn't. When we asked the manager why they didn't follow procedure and call the next emergency contact, his response was, "how many people do you want me to call?" When I brought it up again, he asked me why I was talking to him, because he wasn't the one who didn't make the call. From what I understand, a manager's role includes being responsible for their employees. That manager is a complete joke. The residents pay a whole lot of money for these people to take care of them, but they fail to do so, especially if relatives don't visit often.

"Impressive visit but not the right fit for my loved one"
During our visit to this community, everything went smoothly for my loved one and me. The staff were punctual for our appointment and took the time to answer all our questions thoroughly. I was impressed by their presentation and their professionalism during our visit. Ultimately, it wasn't the best choice for my loved one, but I would still recommend it to others.
