"Mixed feelings at Ivy Park: Rent hike, cold showers, staff turnover"
Overall, Ivy Park seems nice, but there were some issues. The rent went up by 10%, which is a lot when you have a fixed income. Also, the shower water was cold and it took forever to warm up. The room itself was chilly too. But the biggest problem was the staff turnover. My grandma got attached to some of the staff, but they kept leaving for no good reason. Since she moved in over a year ago, there have been four different managers. That's hard for an older person who likes things to stay the same.

"HeadlineHelpful Staff, Slow Service"
The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The dining room team is nice, but sometimes service can be slow due to understaffing.

"Bright and Airy Assisted Living"
We chose this community because my mom loved the bright, airy atmosphere. Overall, I'd recommend it to other families.

"Spacious Rooms with Terraces, Slightly Higher Cost"
Del Opispo Terrace was our second pick. Their rooms were larger than others we saw, and they had terraces. We didn't choose them because their services cost a bit more. Also, the unit she wanted was a bit dark; she preferred more natural light.

"Nice staff, renovations underway, affordable pricing, promising future."
I went to Del Obispo on July 2. The lady named [name removed] was really nice and friendly. She put up a sign that said "Welcome Alan" at the front desk. The place is getting fixed up a lot, but it's not finished yet. They say it's going to be really nice when they're done. And the prices are cheaper than other places.

"Friendly Assisted Living with a Lovely Rose Garden"
My dad lives in a nice apartment here that meets his needs. The food is pretty good, and they have a pleasant dining room. Although the building is older, everything seems fine so far. They offer lots of daily activities for him to choose from. The staff and residents are friendly, and they clean the community once a week. Plus, there's a lovely rose garden on the grounds. I'd recommend this community.

"Lack of care and empathy at Del Obispo Terrace"
I set up my family member to stay at Del Obispo Terrace in October 2017, and it was a bad experience. They really didn't care for my relative well, and they didn't seem to have any sympathy. My relative ended up leaving in an ambulance, and we never returned.
