"Caring Staff, Improving Food, Price Increase"
The people who work here really care about us and pay attention to our needs. They're trying to make the food better, which is good. But the rent got way more expensive this year, like over $200 more! The place is super clean and there's always something to do, which is fun. And they throw amazing parties, like, really awesome ones.

"Excellent Care and Welcoming Environment at Eskaton Lodge"
The staff at Eskaton Lodge are amazing. They are very kind and caring, always ready to help. My mother-in-law got excellent care from the loving staff around the clock. The Activity Team & their staff are fantastic. They make sure everyone is involved in their activities and are very helpful. The Lodge is also a beautiful and welcoming place from the moment you walk in.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Parking was tricky. They weren't expecting us, It was unavailable. Her assistant gave us the tour instead. Only 6 two-bedroom units, all occupied with a long waitlist and low turnover. We saw a tiny 1 BR unit; the kitchenette was just inside the front door, called a "tea kitchen," with a small minibar fridge. Living room and dining area felt cramped, but the office space converted from a closet was a nice touch. Bedroom was adequate. Bathroom had dual access, plenty of closets. Patios cost an extra $300/month. Dining area felt isolated with widely spaced tables. Food was excellent with all-day a la carte menu and early specials. Receptionist seemed overwhelmed but was friendly. No individual mailboxes noted. The assisted living aspect was evident with varying resident needs, from active participants to those needing more care. Mom liked the raised bed gardening area. Overall, a decent place, but the miniature kitchen and small living room were deal breakers. More two-bedroom units and better kitchens are needed.

"Our Visit to Eskaton Assisted Living"
We had some trouble finding parking, but once we arrived, the friendly assistant gave us a tour. The property has only six two-bedroom units, all occupied with a long waiting list. The one-bedroom unit we saw had a tiny kitchenette near the front door, which they call a ‘tea kitchen.’ The living room was small, but the converted closet made a nice office space. The bedroom was suitable for Mom’s furniture, and the bathroom had two entrances. The dining area felt a bit lonely due to the widely spaced tables. The food was excellent, with an all-day à la carte menu and special options during the first two hours of mealtime. The receptionist was friendly despite being busy. We noticed a wide range of residents, from those sitting in the hallway to others actively participating in activities. Overall, it’s a nice place, but the miniature kitchen and small living room were deal-breakers. Eskaton should consider more two-bedroom units with decent kitchens for independent living.

"A True Home with Staff Like Family: Eskaton Lodge Review"
Dad and his wife have lived at Eskaton Lodge Granite Bay for eight years now. We joke that it's like a cruise ship that never leaves the dock, but in a good way! Their needs have always been taken care of, and more. From the beginning, they were told to treat it like home, and that's exactly what it’s become for them. The staff have been so kind and understanding, making their move from independent living to assisted living smooth and easy. When Dad could no longer drive, the transportation service made sure he could still go where he wanted. His garden and birdfeeders, which he loves so much, are right outside the dining room for everyone to see. Eskaton even encouraged him to keep them, rather than saying no. The staff at Eskaton are amazing. They know every resident by name and do everything they can to make their stay as comfortable as possible. They remember little details like what each person likes for breakfast or how they prefer their bed made. Their acts of kindness are endless. They truly are like angels.

"Impressed by the tour"
This place really wowed me during my tour. I gave everything I saw a 5 out of 5. When we were looking for options, they didn’t have any openings, but we definitely considered it!
