"Unsafe, Unsanitary Conditions: Pacifica Assisted Living Needs Major Improvements"
Pacifica could be good, but it falls short. Staff shortage leads to preventable accidents. Activities and cleanliness suffer. Residents left dirty, with inadequate care. Deaths and injuries due to lack of staff. Medication mix-ups and neglect are common. Unsafe conditions persist, urging closure for reform.

"Fairview: A Breath of Fresh Air for Loved Ones"
My loved one went from being super active to needing a lot more care. We tried a few different places, but none of them gave him the attention he needed. He stayed in bed for months, lost a lot of weight, and his care was ignored. Moving him to Fairview was a breath of fresh air. They make sure he gets out of bed and feed him three times a day. Sometimes he says "no" to getting out of bed, but we’ve asked the staff to encourage him more on those days. Even though his appetite has increased, he’s not gaining weight, so maybe they should give bigger portions or seconds. Besides that, his color is much better and he’s definitely better here than before. The staff love him and care for him deeply. I can’t even describe how much better he is, it’s unbelievable. It’s really nice that he’s in a professional community that communicates with him. Keep in mind this is a board and care, not an assisted living community. My loved one doesn’t need activities, entertainment, or field trips anymore. Here at Fairview, he’s getting exactly what he needs. If your loved one is in the same situation, I would definitely recommend this community to you.

"Tour of Peaceful and Clean Assisted Living Facility"
I visited a private room at this lovely place. The home was clean and smelled nice. The caregivers were friendly. There weren’t many activities for the residents, but it was peaceful and quiet. The ladies were waiting for their lunch at the dining room table.

"Beautiful Place, Needs More Food and Interaction"
I visited the Fairview home, managed by Pat Harland. The place was seriously stunning and super clean. The upkeep was impressive. It seemed like a chill, calm space for your folks. Yet, I heard some bad stuff too. Apparently, they don't give residents enough to eat and the staff doesn't chat much with the residents. But on the other hand, they take care of the folks really well.

"Mixed Feelings About Accessibility"
We visited this place when we were looking for care options for a family member. Overall, I thought it looked nice and had a good atmosphere. The building was well-maintained and clean, and the staff were friendly. However, I don't think it would have been the best choice for Mom. She uses a wheelchair, and even though there are ramps, she would have needed assistance to navigate some areas.

"Nice Place, But Not the Best Fit for Us"
We visited this place when looking for care options for a loved one. I thought it looked nice overall, and I liked how it felt. The facility was well-kept and clean, and the people seemed friendly. However, I don't think it would have been the best fit for Mom. She uses a wheelchair, and while everything is accessible with ramps, she would need help to get to some rooms because of the ramps.

""Quite Decent, But The Bedrooms Are Too Small""
It's pretty good, but the bedroom is too tiny for my folks. They each cost $2000.
