Family Choice 4

"Caring and professional during my father's final days"
Family Choice 4 Anaheim was very professional in caring for my father during his final days. Even though he stayed for just a week, they took excellent care of him. They coordinated with Hospice to make sure he was comfortable and free from pain in his last hours. The facility is clean and bright, and they treated my father with dignity. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs it.

"[Too many male caregivers, too institutional"
It did not suit us. My husband does not do well with male caregivers, and there were more male than female caregivers. Also, I thought the place was too big and felt too much like an institution. He is now at a smaller place with night caregivers, and it is working out well.

"Disappointed with Assisted Living Facility, Lacked Promised Care"
I thought the place would help my mom better, but it didn't. They said they could look after her, but they couldn't. We had to leave in a month because they couldn't handle her dementia. They promised activities, but I never saw them happening, even though I visited often. It was clean and the owners were nice, but they need to be honest about what they can do for their clients. I wouldn't suggest anyone go there! Thumbs down.

"Affordable and Welcoming Assisted Living"
When we visited this assisted living facility during our search, we found it pleasant. The cleanliness and friendly staff stood out. Ultimately, our choice was based on cost and insurance, as the quality matched other options. .

"Great Care with Experienced Owners"
They have staff available 24/7, which is rare. Most care facilities don't offer this. In California, residential care homes usually have six residents. This place has the resources to handle incontinence care for my mom, who can't stand. I appreciate the video surveillance in the rooms. It helps identify any issues. My mom had to move because of mobility challenges. While there aren't many activities for clients with dementia, the facility is conveniently located near a fire station, hospital, and medical offices. The owners have six facilities and over a dozen years of experience. They started after the husband's mother had a stroke and needed more homelike care.

"“Gil Administrator Recommends Kaiser Palliative Care”"
The administrator, is recommended. The Kaiser palliative care facility is 15 minutes and 6.5 miles away from GG. They provide lots of baths every day for the 24 residents and have 6 staff members working in 3 shifts. The location is near Orange and Beach.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short Not Recommended for Care Needs"
This place wasn't good. My husband needs help going to the bathroom every morning. I told Family Choice, and they said it was no problem. But when we got there, they said they couldn't help with enemas or other medical stuff. They should've told me that before. Now I have to move him again to a place where the owner is a nurse. It's a big place, and I thought more people would mean more fun. But it just meant more people lying around. It was sad and not clean. Looking back, I'm glad we left. I wouldn't suggest this place. Too many people and not enough staff.
