"Disappointing Experience with Mom's Care at Assisted Living Facility"
I called about my mom, but they often didn't answer. When they did, they didn't seem interested in talking. I don't think my mom was treated well there. It wasn't a good experience. I don't think I got what I paid for. I wouldn't suggest it to others.

"Gifts Lost in Memory Care Chaos"
We can’t visit the community to check how clean it is or see our loved one’s room. It’s frustrating because we drop off gifts, but our loved one on the memory care side doesn’t remember if she received them. So we have to call the community, and sometimes it takes 30 minutes to get an answer.

"Great place for memory care; husband improved, staff attentive."
I had to put my husband here because of his memory issues. I liked how easy it was to understand where everything is. He's gotten better since he came here; he's more awake and does more things. He even talks more now. He enjoys going outside, and the garden isn't too big, so you can't get lost. The people who work here are nice and always ready to help. They listen when I have worries. He likes to watch the activities they have every day; it makes his mind work. There are lots of staff members around. The place stays clean, thanks to the people who clean it. They give him three good meals every day and snacks too. It feels really nice here, and I think it's a good place for people like my husband.

"Pleasant Assisted Living Tour"
Our visit to this place was really nice. Everything looked neat and cozy, like a cute little cottage. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and told us lots of useful stuff. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. We had a great time on our tour.

"Not the right fit for my mom"
The staff were super nice, and I saw them interacting with residents. While keeping my mom's preferences in mind, this wouldn't be the right place for her. It just didn't feel like home to us.

"Excellent Facility with Caring Staff and Great Activities"
I visited and checked out 8 different places before choosing Fullerton Gardens for my dad and step-mom. What made Fullerton Gardens stand out was how much the staff really cared about the residents, no matter why they were there. The place is clean, has prices that are similar to other places, offers good activities to keep people engaged, and everyone there is friendly to families and visitors. Picking the right place is tough. No one wants to lose their independence, and it was really hard for me to decide. My parents managed to stay in their home with live-in caregivers for 8 years to keep their independence. But eventually, it became too much to handle. They couldn’t get out, weren’t getting any stimulation, and were starting to feel depressed. After thinking about it a lot, I decided on Fullerton Gardens, and I’m really happy with that choice. I also met their on-call doctor, and I was impressed. I feel confident that he will take good care of my parents if they need him.

"One vacancy and no interior shower, but great staff"
Went for a visit, but they only had one room free. Unfortunately, there's no shower indoors, and my mom won't appreciate that. The sales representative was super friendly though! .

"Very positive experience, caring staff, pleasant garden"
My husband has been here for a short time, and so far, I find everything to be very good. There are a lot of caring and helpful people who quickly assist those who need it. The garden is especially well cared for and is a pleasant place to spend time. My experience has been very positive.

"Lack of Communication at Assisted Living Facility"
My aunt seems to be doing alright at this facility, even better than at the last one. It's been two weeks since anyone has reached out to keep me updated about her though. I organized her move into the facility, yet there's been no follow-up calls regarding her care. As a nurse myself, I have been urging the hospice team to put her on improved supplements, but my recommendations keep falling on deaf ears. Whenever I try to communicate my ideas, I meet with opposition. Even though I'm a healthcare professional, they refuse to heed my advice. I'm working hard to be part of the team caring for her. I spoke with the administration office today, hoping to see some positive change soon.

"Dad's Care is Like Living in a Palace!"
They’re taking great care of my dad at Fullerton Gardens. I’m visiting this weekend to discuss with family because they want to move him. I keep telling them he’s living in a palace. I’m very happy with this place.

"Great Place, Just Not Right for Us"
My girlfriend isn’t there anymore, but it’s not because Fullerton Gardens did anything wrong. For her condition, it just wasn’t the right fit. She likes to walk and wander, which I didn’t think about when choosing this place. She had a fall and went to the hospital. I wanted her to go back to Fullerton Gardens, but it was too big and noisy for her. I wanted a more secluded, home-like setting. Fullerton Gardens was excellent, just not right for us.

"Welcoming Assisted Living Visit on September 19"
Visited on September 19. The place might be a bit distant from my two sons who live and work in Los Angeles. The building and surroundings looked nice and welcoming. The staff and residents were friendly and appeared happy. Two doctors regularly visit the facility.
