"Personalized Care in Welcoming Environment at Garden of Palms"
Compared to the big assisted living places, Garden of Palms is way better. We've been to both, and Garden of Palms gives better and more focused care. Since it's smaller, they have more time for each person. They also seem to get better results. The building isn't super fancy, but when you go in, they've made the lobby really inviting. It's very neat, clean, and organized. Not fancy, but still nice and good enough.

"Warm and Friendly, But Pricey"
When I visited this place, the staff was friendly and answered all my questions. It looked clean and well-maintained. The parking was terrible. I felt a warm atmosphere there. I saw a caregiver singing to a resident, which was nice. Unfortunately, the price wasn't right for us, so we had to look elsewhere.

"Friendly staff and clean, but parking and price were issues"
I visited this place and found the staff friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and well-maintained. However, the parking situation was really bad. I did get a good vibe from the place, and I even saw a caregiver singing to a resident, which was nice. Unfortunately, the price didn't fit our budget, so we decided to look elsewhere.

"Limited Holiday Celebrations: Nice Staff, But Not for Christmas Lovers"
The place was nice and the staff were really friendly. But they told us most people living there were Jewish and they didn't do Christmas celebrations. Christmas is my mom's favorite holiday, so even though everything else seemed good, we had to look elsewhere.

"Couldn't be a fit for mom due to holiday differences."
The staff and the community itself were great here. But, the residents were mostly Jewish, so they didn't celebrate any events like Christmas, which is my mom's favorite holiday. So because of this, even though the community seemed okay, we weren't willing to let my mom miss her holidays.

"Great place with friendly staff and nice atmosphere"
My parents are very happy with Garden of Palms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Since they're often full, don’t try to get in too quickly. Because it’s a smaller facility, people get to know each other better. The staff always responds quickly. While there’s always room for improvement, this place is much better than others we saw. The decor and atmosphere are really nice.

"Great atmosphere and friendly staff at Garden of Palms"
My parents have been really happy with Garden of Palms so far. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They’re pretty full right now, so don’t try to get in too soon. It’s a smaller place, so people get to know each other better. The staff always responds quickly to needs. While there’s always room for improvement in any service, this place was way better than the others I checked out. The decor and atmosphere here are really nice.

"A Wonderful Place for Our Mom"
I’m so grateful for the executive director and all the staff at the Garden of Palms. They’ve been really kind and caring with our mom, who has Alzheimer’s and dementia. They treat her like family, showing lots of respect and care. My mom is happy there, enjoys the activities, and we get updates and invitations to special events. The place is beautiful, the food is great, and they take good care of her medical needs. They even take her for walks and to the beauty parlor for haircuts. If all places were as good as the Garden of Palms, no one would worry about finding a home for their loved ones.

"Kosher, Caring, and Convenient"
I moved my parents here from Florida after checking many places. I needed a Kosher facility that accepted their long-term insurance and was close to me. Garden of Palms was perfect. The staff is wonderful caring, warm, and kind. The food is delicious and made fresh every day. The front desk is very friendly, and the activities director goes above and beyond. The director helped make the move smooth and even furnished their rooms. Yes, two rooms! She also assisted with the complicated long-term insurance process. The caregivers are attentive and diverse. Garden of Palms allows my parents to stay together, even with my mom’s early dementia. I can't recommend Garden of Palms enough. If you get a chance to move in, you’ll be pleased.

"Great care and cozy environment at Garden of Palms"
My mom used to live in a big, pricey assisted living place. Garden of Palms is much smaller, but it's a great fit. The staff are friendly and helpful. The chef makes tasty soups that are served at lunch and dinner. The meals are smaller but actually better than what she had before. There are lots of activities, and my mom joins in more here. The smaller setting is just right for her. They have a nice courtyard with a fountain, a little library, and a movie room. Murielle, the director, is very caring and supportive. It might not look like much from the outside, but inside it’s really nice with fresh flowers everywhere. The price is fair, and they don’t try to add extra costs.

"Perfect Fit for My Mom"
My mother used to live in a big, pricey assisted living place. Garden of Palms is much smaller but feels like a better fit. The staff here are kind and helpful. The chef makes great soups for lunch and dinner, and the meals are usually better than what we had at the more expensive place. My mom gets involved in activities here, which she didn't do before. The smaller setting is just right for her. They have a nice courtyard with a fountain, a cozy library, and a movie room. Murielle, the director, is very caring and supportive. While the outside doesn’t look like much, the inside is lovely with fresh flowers everywhere. The pricing is fair and they don't add extra costs, which is great.

"Lovely Facility with Caring Staff and Helpful Tour Experience"
This facility was lovely, and the patients seemed well cared for. Even though they didn’t have any open spots during our visit, Murielle was very helpful and spent nearly an hour with us. The facility went beyond what I expected for a memory care place.

"Too Dark, Not Welcoming, Unfavorable Staff Attitude"
I didn't like it at all. It felt more like a nursing home than anything else. It was really dim and sad, and I didn't like the lady I talked to. She kept saying bad stuff about other places, which wasn't cool. It would have made my mom really sad to be there. We're definitely not considering it. I wouldn't want my mom to see that place.

"Absolute Nope for Mom's New Home"
I was really disappointed with this place. It felt more like a hospital for seriously unwell people rather than a care home. The space was shadowy and gloomy, which I didn't like. The lady I talked to wasn't pleasant at all. She was badmouthing other locations, which put me off. This is a place that would have made my mom unhappy. So, it's just not on the cards for us. There's no chance I would have let my mom see the site.

"Pleasant Atmosphere, Jewish Community"
Nice atmosphere overall – everything's neat and tidy. It's a Jewish community. Will Mom be comfortable there? The cost is $3500, including bathing and meds, with a $1500 deposit. If bathing and meds aren't needed, it could be $3000.

"Highly Experienced and Caring Staff!"
I chose Garden of Palms because all the staff have been there a long time. Everyone is really experienced. Even the chef, who has been there the shortest time, has worked there for 5 years. They definitely know their stuff and truly care about the residents. I don't know much about the activities since my mom doesn't join in, but it looks like they have plenty of options available.
