"Assisted Living Community Cares Deeply About Residents"
This community is great to live in. People here treat residents really well. Staff work extra hard to make sure residents are happy and have everything they need. I am happy to work at a place where residents always come first.

"Struggling Assisted Living Facility Faces Staffing Woes"
They don't have enough staff, and morale is disappointing. If you're not one-on-one, it's tough to get help when you need it. The on-call doctor seems too busy and unfriendly. Good staff leave because the environment isn't great—they can't keep working under these conditions. The new administrator cares a lot, but I hope she doesn't give up trying to improve things.

"Clean, Friendly, and Comfortable Living at Glen Park at Boynton"
The rooms at Glen Park at Boynton are super neat and clean. Each room has a sliding glass door that opens to a big, shared patio. The rooms also have wall air conditioning units, which are really important because it's often 90 degrees in LA for most of the year. The staff comes in every day to vacuum, make the bed, and clean the bathroom. The dining room is very spacious and is next to a lounge with a big flat screen TV and lots of comfy chairs. When I was there during dinner, the staff was wiping down all the empty chairs in the lounge. They do a great job keeping the place clean. The staff is very polite; I haven't met any employees or nurses with bad attitudes. I've heard the food is pretty good, but like other places, the portions are kind of small. The only downside is the lack of street parking. The facility is on a very narrow street in Glendale with lots of apartment buildings. Guests can park in the facility's underground structure, but you have to call the staff to open the parking gate both when you arrive and when you leave.

"Too far, poor management, and understaffing issues continue"
This place is too far from home, I'd prefer to be in Altadena, Pasadena, or San Gabriel. Furthermore, they have the same unreachable managers and not enough staff, just like Singing Oaks - exactly why we're trying to switch.

"Spacious, Clean Assisted Living with Some Security Concerns"
Next-door park. Neighborhood not great. Clean, spacious indoor areas, large multipurpose room, friendly activity director. Front door sometimes unlocked, reception desk with cameras, indoor walking space abundant.

"Competent Care in Dementia Facility, Prefer Smaller Home Setting"
For a place that focuses on dementia and Alzheimer's patients, I thought they were quite good. Even though I believe my mom would thrive more in a smaller home with just 6 patients, I feel these caregivers are skilled and really cared about their residents. The facility was well-maintained and the staff paid attention to detail. It’s nice to know it’s a family-owned business.
