"Unsafe Environment with Inadequate Supervision and Subpar Services"
My experience at Westfield Gardens Villa wasn't good. The front door stays unlocked, and residents wander off often. There's not enough supervision, especially for those with memory issues. The staff seems nice, but they're hardly around. Plus, the food isn't great.

"Golden Meadows felt unwelcoming, outdated, and unfit for husband's needs."
Golden Meadows didn't feel warm or inviting for my husband. It was dimly lit and seemed pretty worn out. The facility is centered more around helping those with Alzheimer's, but my husband has Parkinson's, not Alzheimer's. Also, they had no individual bathrooms. It just didn't seem like the place for us.

"Discouraging Experience: Golden Meadows Unfit for Parkinson's Patrons"
Golden Meadows felt really aged, gloomy, and dull. It just didn't offer a friendly or cozy ambience I want for my husband. Its facilities seem more designed for Alzheimer's patients, but my husband suffers from Parkinson's, not Alzheimer's. There were no separate bathrooms and it just wouldn't match his needs.

"Cost Hike Forces Mom's Move From Golden Meadows"
Golden Meadows provided okay care, but we have to move my mom. They've raised the price by $1300 which is too much for us. My mom enjoyed it there and it was a nice place, but it doesn't work for us now.

My dad really enjoys living at Golden Meadows. It's a cozy community with friendly staff who treat him like family. The place is always clean, and they offer fun activities like daily exercise classes and entertaining performances. Plus, the food caters to each resident's preferences. I highly recommend this community.

"Small Community Needs Updates, Helpful Staff, Limited Meal Experience"
Looking for a small place, we found this community. It fit our needs, but the location wasn't great. The place could use some updates. It seemed clean, and the housekeeping staff were trying hard to keep it that way. The information from our guide was helpful. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try a complimentary meal, so we couldn't see what they looked like.

"Clean, Friendly Assisted Living with Delicious Food and Activities"
Golden Meadows is super clean. The people who work there are really nice and always paying attention. My husband is getting used to it and doing okay. I haven't seen any unhappy people living there. The food is really good, my husband is a picky eater and he hasn't said anything bad about it. They have activities for people to do, but my husband doesn't join in.

"Overpriced, Smelly Assisted Living Facility Too Crowded"
This facility is unclean, too crowded, and too expensive. It has a bad smell. I would never leave anyone in their care.

"Staff’s positivity makes up for the facility’s looks"
We chose Golden Meadows because it's very convenient for our family. Even though our loved one has Alzheimer’s, she can stay in assisted living instead of the memory care unit, which was a big plus for us. The place might look a bit old, but it’s a hidden gem. The staff more than makes up for it; they’re fantastic with a positive attitude.
