"Feels like family, caring staff, highly recommended!"
When we were looking for a place for my mother-in-law, we wanted something close by. This place feels like family, and all the staff are really nice. The owner is quick to respond and has great communication skills. He always lets me know when my mother-in-law’s meds are low, so I can get more. He’s very involved and caring. The cook even takes the time to hand-feed my mother-in-law. I would highly recommend this place to other families.

"Great Home with Caring Administrator and Warm Atmosphere"
We were really impressed with Jane [last name removed], the home administrator, from our very first visit. She is super positive and caring. We also liked how the place feels warm and welcoming, with a nice backyard garden. The staff keeps us updated and is always on top of things, letting us know how mom is doing and if she needs anything. Right now, this is the best place for my mom.

"They treat my parents like family; I'm very grateful!"
I have both my parents, who are 95 years old, at Good Hands Home Care. I feel so lucky to have found this lovely, bright, and cheerful home. They are both treated with lots of love and respect. Whenever I visit, it feels like being with my own family. It’s such a relief to know my parents are well cared for when I can’t be with them. I’ve already recommended Good Hands Home Care to others.

"Safe, Caring Place with Great Staff and Delicious Meals"
After checking out a few other places for my mom, my son and I visited Fountain Valley. Right away, we felt comfortable. The place is clean and roomy. They gave us all the details about costs and what’s included in the care. I called my sister and dad, and they also toured the place. We decided to move Mom there after her rehab for a broken hip. Every day, she got healthy, fresh meals and snacks. Whenever I had questions or needed to change her meds, I could call Good Hands and get help quickly. Mom was well cared for, and all her needs were met. My whole family felt at ease knowing Mom was in a safe place. Dad and I visited often. Mom stayed for 6 months and was able to go home to Dad. If I need care for my parents again, I'll choose Good Hands. I highly recommend this place, and the people there are very kind.

"Not a Great Experience"
He, who runs the place, is the only one who speaks English. It's hard to be friendly when you can't communicate. I wasn't happy because he was rarely there, leaving my mother with untrained helpers. They could only do basic tasks, like helping people into chairs. If he wasn't around, my mom was left alone all day. The facility had two homes, but he was always at the other one. Overall, not a great experience.

"Only English-speaking manager often absent, staff untrained."
He who's in charge, is the only English speaker, which makes it hard to be sociable with anyone else. I wasn't pleased with He because he was often absent and my mom ended up with the assistants who weren't certified caregivers but could perform simple tasks like moving residents into their chairs. When He wasn't present, my mom was essentially left by herself all day. They operate two homes and whenever I called or visited, He was always at the other location. I wasn't satisfied overall.
