Harmony Assisted Living of San Mateo

"Great care and technology for my mom while I'm abroad"

After visiting many assisted living places and board and care homes, I chose Harmony Assisted Living in San Mateo for my 93-year-old mother. She will stay there for a 2-month respite while I'm overseas. I'm hoping she will want to stay there permanently when I come back. Terri, the owner and main caregiver, is a licensed nurse with over 20 years of experience and truly loves her job. The care is very personalized, and there’s a lot of social interaction. The house is very clean. Terri is also up to date with technology, so we can Skype. With my iPad, I can talk to and see my mom while I'm in Italy. To my 93-year-old mother, this is "amazing"!
