High Desert Residential Care

"Needs More Life!"
The place looks nice, with beautiful grounds and outdoor spaces. But there's not much to do. They've got cards, TV, and maybe some other games. On Sundays, a lady comes for Bible study. The staff is okay, though not all of them are friendly. Dr. used to visit, but it's been a while. They could use more excitement up there.

"Lovely facility but needs more staff for better services."
They take good care of the residents, but more aides would be helpful. They're thoughtful and kind. Sunday Church services are available. The place is really nice! The food is okay but could be better. Maybe with extra help, a good cook could make it more enjoyable. It's tough to get assistance here; it seems like people don't want to work if they don't have to. This applies to activities too; they mentioned field trips, but they need more helpers for transportation, and there aren't enough activities because of the staffing shortage. It's a beautiful place, and the owner-director is very nice, as well as the staff, but they could really use more help.

"Excellent care and support for my parents over six years"
My parents have lived at this place for six years. Over time, they’ve gone from being pretty independent to needing help with everything. Some staff members even call my dad their dad and really take great care of him. When I visit, I’m always welcomed, no matter what time it is. The owner is quick to respond to any concerns I have. I’m really thankful for the care they provide.

"Excellent Care for Alzheimer's and Dementia Patients"
Our parents have been at this facility for six years. We are very happy with their care. One has Alzheimer's and the other has Dementia. Not every place can handle these kinds of clients or wants to. After six years of dropping by unannounced, we are sure our loved ones are well taken care of. The staff is loving and caring and has been hand-feeding our father for several years. The owner listens to our concerns and doesn't charge us for extras. We feel very lucky to have found this place when we needed help.

"Great Care and Support for Our Parents Over 6 Years"
Our parents have been living here for 6 years. One has Alzheimer's and the other has dementia. We always see how kind and loving the staff are to our family. The owner listens to our concerns, and we feel confident our parents are well cared for. There are no hidden extra costs, and we can visit any time, which is very important to us.

"Shockingly Poor Assisted Living Facility: Dismal Conditions and Blatant Lies"
The website for this assisted living facility claims they plan activities for their older residents but that's just not accurate. They barely have any organized events and transportation is rarely available. Most times, the elderly folks are just idle with nothing to do. Let's talk about food, have you seen those meals in the pictures they post online? They're not real. Meals they actually serve are basic snacks like a slice of cheese or a few crackers. And the condition inside, it's nauseating. It smells of filthiness and urine, and the residents' personal hygiene is also inadequate. This is not the sort of environment you'd want for your mom, dad, or grandparents. They continuously misrepresent what's actually happening. Trust me, if you leave your loved ones here, you're putting them at risk of neglect, isolation, poor mental health, and more. Don't let the photos, particularly those of the buildings, deceive you. The outside doesn't matter, what's going on inside is genuinely terrifying! Please, think seriously before entrusting them with those you care about!
