"Great Care for My Mom"

I am really happy with the care my mom gets here. She likes the staff because they are very caring. She enjoys the meals and the activities they have for her. This place is very clean. We would recommend this community for great care.

"Not the right fit for us"

When we visited Home Sweet Home for Elderly, I saw that it was a private house. The caregiver was friendly, but it didn't meet our needs. The rooms were tiny, and there wasn't much privacy.

"Needs Better Care for Memory Problems!"

This place has a lot of fun daily activities for the people who live here. My mom really liked how friendly everyone was to her when she first came and she got to be a part of everything. The food is good and they all eat together at the same time every day. But, I wasn't too happy with how the workers acted when my mom couldn't remember things. I needed to move her because they weren't able to take care of her when her memory got worse. This place is really good for those who can take care of themselves and don't need extra help.

"Unhappy Atmosphere and Limited Support at Assisted Living Facility"

The people seemed really sad. The bedroom carpets were old, faded, and stained. The whole place had a bad smell. The owner said they won't accept someone with memory problems because they're afraid they might wander off. There's only one caregiver at a time, so they can't watch one person all the time, and they're not allowed to lock the doors. It's not a good place for someone with dementia.

"Assisted Living Home Not Suited for Memory-Impaired Individuals"

The people here seemed pretty miserable. The carpets in the bedrooms seemed really faded, old and dirty. The place even had a really unpleasant, stinky smell. The owner stated she won't accept people having memory problems, because she's scared they might wander off. Since there's only one caregiver available at a time, they can't keep a constant eye on a single person. She also mentioned that they’re not allowed to lock all the exits, per rules. So, it’s definitely not the right choice for someone with dementia.

"Outstanding care; mom is happy and well-cared for in Lathrop."

I would give Home Sweet Home For Elderly in Lathrop more than 5 stars if I could. The owner and staff are very attentive and caring to my mom. Even though she wasn’t happy about leaving her own home, she needed better care than I could provide. Now she seems content and happy in her new home.

"My Mom's New Home"

I'd give Home Sweet Home For Elderly in Lathrop more than 5 stars if I could. The owner and staff are super attentive and caring toward my Mom. Even though she wasn't thrilled about leaving her own home, she needed better care at her age. Now, she's content and happy in her new home.

"Great place with friendly staff and homey atmosphere"

They're doing great so far. The place is very clean, and the staff is super friendly. They offer lots of activities, which is nice. We haven't had any complaints. It feels like a real home, not like an institution. There's a nice living room, and she has her own room. We really like the atmosphere.

"We really liked them and thought they'd work out well"

We really liked this place and thought it would be a good fit. We toured it, but when the time came, there weren't any openings.
