"Mixed Feelings About This Care Home"
This care home is smaller. Mom would have had to share a small room. The home felt a bit cramped, and I'm unsure if they could handle the care Mom needed. On the positive side, I liked the people, and the food was prepared on-site. They have caregivers available 24 hours a day.

"Great Care, Poor Meals at Assisted Living"
The part where they help people get better, which they’re not even required to do, is awesome! The guy in charge is really good at helping my mom get around. He’s got some serious skills when it comes to rehab. But the food? It’s not good, and that’s a big deal. The meals are starting to be a real problem, and it’s a shame because the folks there are super kind and they work so hard to make everyone happy. I used to think it was just my mom who didn’t like the food, but after spending enough time there, I see it’s just not tasty food. They use a lot of stuff that comes in boxes or bags. Sure, they’re friendly folks and they’re doing their best, and there’s plenty of good stuff there, but the food just isn’t up to par.

"Commendable Rehab Assistance, Abysmal Food Quality"
The physical therapy offered at this facility, which was unexpected, is fantastic! The director is wonderful, really helping my mom get around - his expertise in therapy is top-notch. Sadly, the food is a big letdown and that's the main issue. The subpar food is becoming a more prevalent concern, and it's sad because the staff is really friendly and they give it their all to satisfy everyone. Initially, I assumed my mom was just being picky, but I've been around long enough to confirm that the food just doesn't cut it - lots of processed, pre-packaged stuff. The people here are genuinely nice and they're making efforts and there are several positive aspects, but the food needs improvement.
