"Good community with some communication issues, but still recommended"
The communication here is generally good, though it can be inconsistent at times. I would suggest this community to others.

"Feels Like Home, Great for Hospice Care"
I toured this place hoping to find a home for my mother. It's a really nice community, and I would have thought about bringing her here for hospice care. The staff is very nice, warm, and attentive. When you walk in, it feels like home. It's spacious, and everything just feels right. All the residents seem well cared for. I would recommend this community to other families.

"Great group home with friendly staff and clean facilities"
Overall, it’s a really nice group home. There are always two staff members in the evening, and the owners are great and very helpful. The food has an Eastern European style, and they’re very accommodating about it. The staff is friendly, and the house is clean. They’re careful about who they hire, which is great. My mom enjoys this place because she can socialize with other residents, even though there are no organized activities.

"Wonderful care and support at Just Like Home!"
Just Like Home in Valley Village was a great place for my mother when she needed more care. She stayed there for two years until she passed away, and the care she got was wonderful. The home is clean and comfortable, and the staff is warm and welcoming. I chose this place because it was close to my house, and one of the owners is a nurse. She kept a close eye on my mother’s health, always calling me or the doctor if she had a concern. Her husband was incredibly kind and did so much for my mom. He took her to her doctor’s appointments, stayed with her in the ER when I couldn’t be there, and even ran errands for her. He would buy her weekly lottery tickets, bring her flowers, and pick up her favorite foods when she needed a little cheering up. Both of them were capable, attentive, and caring—the kind of people you want caring for your loved one. Their caregivers were also hardworking, kind, and thoughtful. They went above and beyond to take care of my mother, who could be difficult at times, and were so supportive and compassionate during her last weeks. I highly recommend Just Like Home in Valley Village, California.
