"Weekend Care Needs Improvement"
The care on weekdays is okay, but weekends are just bad.

"Mixed Experience at Friendly Assisted Living Facility"
This place is pretty nice and not too expensive, and the people are friendly. But there's not a lot of parking. Whenever you need help, they come pretty fast. The room I got was really good even though it's meant for two people. Most of the people who live here use wheelchairs and have a hard time remembering things. The patio is really nice, with lots of plants and a waterfall. The only bad thing was when my wife had to go to the emergency room for something that turned out not to be serious. We had to wait there for six hours, and she didn't even get admitted.

"Great care and value for families"
We are so happy with the care from the wonderful staff. The community is clean, well-maintained, and has a nice environment. They serve healthy meals with lots of options, and we love the activities they offer for the residents. We definitely recommend this place for its care and value.

"Assisted Living Delights with Dad's Happiness and Health"
My dad is doing really well here. The medical records could be better, but overall, he's happy, and that's what matters most to us. The building is old, but they're updating it with new carpets and such. It's actually quite nice. The gardens and courtyard are especially lovely! The staff has been amazing and really helped us out a lot.

"Happy Dad, Minor Concerns"
My dad is happier and healthier than ever. I'm a little worried about the record-keeping in the medical department, but other than that, my dad is extremely happy, and that's what really matters to my family and me. The place looks old, and they're redoing the carpet and stuff. But it's beautiful too. The courtyard and front gardens are beautiful! We can't thank the staff enough for everything they've done for my dad and for taking so much pressure off our shoulders.

"Unpleasant Atmosphere Despite Friendly Staff"
When I went to Lincoln Villa, it felt super old, kinda like my grandma's nursing home. It was gross and not cozy at all, definitely not somewhere I'd say you should live. The folks there were nice, but I couldn't shake off how the whole place felt.

"Average Facility with Upfront Costs and Helpful Staff"
The worker I met with was super polite and handy. The establishment is average, rated a 3, but it's clear. They include everything in the price with no hidden fees tacked onto the monthly rate. And, if your money runs out, they cooperate with Medical.

"Assisted Living Facility Review Summary"
The only issue was the call button needing a phone line. It took days, leaving my mother-in-law unable to call for help at night. Staff is efficient and kind but seemed understaffed. Some residents liked it; meals were good for my mother-in-law. Not fancy but clean and decent, staff is friendly. Administration was helpful, Kaiser Hospice was excellent.

"A Caring Community"
The only problem I had was with the call button. We needed a phone line to use the wireless call button on a wristband, which took several days. During that time, my mother-in-law couldn't call for help at night because her room was far from the nurse's station. The staff was efficient and kind, but I heard from other patients that they might be a bit understaffed. Some long-term residents liked the place, and my mother-in-law enjoyed the pureed meals. It's not fancy, but it's clean, decent, and the staff interacts well with residents. There were also many residents without dementia, and people greeted us warmly during our visits. The administration was helpful, and the Kaiser Hospice made our experience even better.

"Wonderful place with excellent care"
I think Lincoln Villa does an amazing job overall. I’d give them top marks in every area. I visited a lot of places when I was looking for care options for my loved one, but none felt right until I found Lincoln Villa. It’s a really nice place, and they’ve taken great care of my loved one.

"Super nice and accommodating place!"
They have been super nice. The price was fair. They have been very accommodating. She feels comfortable there, and they take great care of her. They made her move easy. The administrators are good. I highly recommend them; they are friendly and know a lot. They might not have live Frank Sinatra music all day, but it's a great place!

"“Assured Peace of Mind”"
My husband stays at Lincoln Villa, and I’m very happy with the place. Although he can’t join the activities, I’m sure they’re excellent. On the day he moved in, they had a Luau for residents and families. Since I work full-time, having peace of mind about his care is wonderful.

"Smooth Transition with Room for Improvement"
It was a good change for her. I'd rate them a strong four stars; they do well but can improve. The place is tidy, and the staff is nice. She doesn't gripe about food or boredom; there are lots to do. Everything's going great, and we're happy.

"Mixed feelings: Needs better care and communication, but nice environment."
I have to keep reminding them about tasks. Food's okay but not all suitable. Not great at catering special diets. Caregivers don't communicate well, especially at shift changes. Sometimes busy, sometimes idle, but more staff needed. Lacks personal attention. LPNs present, unsure about RNs. Pretty patio, rarely accessible due to health. Activities room can be bleak and hectic. Some residents are difficult. Suggest observing activity room atmosphere before deciding.

"Always Double-Checking Things at This Average Care Facility"
I always need to double-check that stuff gets completed here. The meals are average, but they aren't very good at serving food special to his diet. I also notice that the staff don't communicate very well, especially when they switch their shifts. Sometimes, it's very hectic while other times it's too quiet, and it seems like they could handle things better with a few more hands. I wish they were more focused on giving personal attention. The presence of LPN nurses is a plus, I was told they have an RN too, but I've never seen one here. I really liked their patio, it's beautiful with lots of flowers and umbrella-covered tables, it makes a peaceful place to visit. But, our health doesn't always allow us to sit there, so we usually end up in the activities room. That room can be messy and sad. Some of the residents are not very friendly, they can get disturbing and confusing. If you're considering this place, I would suggest sitting in the activities room to observe how things go and if your loved one can cope up with that setting.

""Chosen for Medical Support and Proximity, Despite Lack of Elegance""
I saw this place before the others. It wasn't as fancy as what he's used to in MD. The residents looked pretty old. But I'd pick this over Merrill Gardens, because they seem more ready for medical needs and taking care of people for a long time. Plus, it's closer to our house than the other places.

"Nice Place, But Costs Add Up and Residents Seem Unhappy"
The assisted living facility is pretty pricey at $2500 a month, plus extras like cable, medical insurance, co-pays, clothes, and other care items. The residents didn't seem very happy, although maybe the more cheerful ones were on a luncheon field trip. Overall, it’s a nice place with nice rooms.
