"Mariposa Falls Short in Elder Care Quality"
Mariposa used to be a safe and reliable place for our family, but now it's all about making money. The staff turnover is crazy, and the new management isn't doing a good job. Despite the declining care, they keep raising rates for residents. I can't honestly recommend Mariposa for elder care.

"Loved at first, declined with staff turnover and added charges."
We loved it initially, but quality declined with staff turnover.

"Supportive and Compassionate Assisted Living"
I was really confused and stressed when I suddenly had to find an assisted living/mental care place for my spouse. The staff at Mariposa were amazing. They showed me around, explained everything, and didn't pressure me at all. They helped me feel confident in letting them take care of things and guide me through the changes. It was hard to let strangers handle everything, like laundry, especially since my spouse was changing so much. He first went into an assisted living room, but it soon became clear he needed the mental care unit. They connected me with Central Coast Hospice for his medical needs, and I felt good about them right away. My spouse slowly started to accept them and the changes too. The staff at Mariposa have been respectful and truly seem to care about both my spouse and me.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Better Communication and Meals"
The staff is super friendly. But they should give better instructions on moving in, like setting up internet, phone, and TV. The food needs improvement, and they could communicate better with residents and families.
