"Terrible Assisted Living Facility with Disrespectful and Negligent Owner"
If I could, I'd rate this place under 1 star. The owner, who claims to be a nurse, is extremely unprofessional. I would never trust her with the care of someone I love. A person I know almost lost a family member while under her care. Her treatment of the residents is deceitful and she's often loud with them and their families. The facility only appears clean in photos. She even uses disposable underpads designated for the residents as mats at the entrance. Her kitchen stinks, so I'm not sure what she's feeding the residents. The main room is full of clutter and the residents seem like they're bathed only every two weeks. There was even a resident yelling for help without the owner or her nurse responding. The State Department of Health urgently needs to inspect this facility. The owner is obviously breaking the law and should not be allowed to run this facility.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility for Loved Ones"
When I checked out this place for my family member, it didn't seem like the right choice. It just looked like an ordinary house. It didn't feel like a professional setup, and it's much smaller than other places I've seen. It seemed like my loved one would be all alone there. Overall, it just wasn't what I wanted, and it didn't match what I was looking for.

"Caring Staff with a Furry Friend"
The person in charge used to be a nurse for people who had been through a lot, and they also have a dog.

"Neglectful Assisted Living, Rapid Health Decline"
I had to take my dad out of this place. At first, he seemed fine; he could talk and was quite mobile. But after some time, it was like he aged rapidly. He could barely move, I even had to help him just to get out of there. Not only that, but he'd lost a whole seven pounds! This place started so great, it was everything we hoped for, but after we moved him in, the quality of care just sunk. Funny thing is, the owner's a nurse. She acts like she's got all the answers. I think A Place For Mom needs to do a better job vetting the places they suggest. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
