Mountain View Assisted Living and Memory Care

"Better Options Nearby"
I suggest looking into other places nearby. We moved my family member from another town, and because it was far, they didn't check their needs beforehand. They're charging for services they don't require. The boss says they're too busy to assess my family member due to staff changes. Also, the turnover means the cleaning isn't up to par, and residents aren't happy.

"Caring Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
This place is great for your loved one. They really care about the residents and always try to improve. The staff communicates really well. We talk every week about my loved one. I think more caregivers are needed for the residents.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience"
The assisted living facility seems nice from the outside. But once your parent moves in, it's a different story. My mom stayed there for over three years, and every year they raised the rent by $160 to over $200, depending on the room size. I had to move my mom out because of this yearly increase. They often don't have enough staff, and most of them don't interact much with the residents. Apart from that, it's a decent place.

"Outstanding Care at Mountain View Assisted Living"
Our Aunt has been living at Mountain View Assisted Living for three years, and the care she gets is amazing. The staff is always nice and professional. We highly recommend Mountain View Assisted Living. The food is great, and the place is always clean. Her room is well-kept and tidy. The care she receives is professional, caring, and empathetic. The activities are fun and include her family. This place is definitely five stars. The new Director, has made some great changes, and repairs are always done quickly. Thanks to all the staff!

"Great care, activities, and clean environment at Mountain View Assisted Living"
Mountain View Assisted Living and Memory Care in Ukiah is well managed and truly cares about its residents. The atmosphere is calm and loving, and the facility is always clean. They provide lots of activities like games, puzzles, exercise classes, Bible study, outings, grocery trips, and a mobile library that visits every two weeks. There are also many fun events. They offer hair and nail care, and nursing care is available 24 hours a day. Meals are provided for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

"Quiet and Clean, Staff Interaction Lacking"
We visited Mountain View Assisted Living and Memory Care. The staff answered all our questions during the tour. The place was neat and tidy. However, it felt too quiet for us. There didn't seem to be enough staff spending time with the residents.

"Struggling leadership affects assisted living community; hopes for improvement."
I've been in Ukiah for 30 years, know the medical field. Mountain View struggles; families consider relocating loved ones. Staff is great, but leadership needs improvement. A leader named made progress, but vanished. Corporate decisions worsened. Hope for better leadership.
