"Contract disregarded, refusal for hospital transfer, feels deceived."

My experience was absolutely terrible! They gave me a contract and I even paid a deposit. I got an email saying my mom wouldn't be reassessed for half of a year. Still, they wouldn't accept her from the hospital. This definitely feels like a trick!

"Recommended but needs more diverse activities; meals could be improved."

Overall, Atria Newport Beach is pretty good. It would be better if they had more people who speak Spanish working in the activities. The meals are okay, but they seem to be the same most of the time. Based on our experience, we would suggest Atria Newport Beach to other families.

"Honest and Caring Community for Grandparents"

This community is really nice, just like others have said. My grandparents and I agree with everything they’ve mentioned. I also want to mention that we appreciate their honesty. We asked a lot of questions about care, meals, outings, and especially pricing. Being my grandparents' caregiver, honesty is crucial when finding a comfortable and safe home for them. [Name removed] is amazing and knows so much.

"Excited about Mom’s new apartment and upcoming assessment."

We’ve put down a deposit and have an appointment for Mom’s assessment on Sunday, March 4th. We’ll see how it goes! Her apartment is really nice and the right size. I hope she likes it.

"Welcoming Community with Plenty of Activities and Convenient Location"

My mom lives at Newport Terrace. The staff is awesome. They found her a friend to help her feel comfy. They're super helpful and nice. They have lots of fun things to do like exercises, Bingo, trips, and classes. It's not too big, not too small, just right. It's not pricier because it's in Newport Beach. It's close to us, which is great. They clean once a week, but I wish they'd do a better job. Overall, I'd totally recommend it.

"True Family Atmosphere"

From the moment I talked to him on the phone, I felt they truly care about everyone there. The atmosphere is loving, honest, and kind. The community is always clean and cheerful; everyone there is friendly and welcoming. When I toured, everyone was smiling, laughing, and chatting. They even have fresh baked cookies at the front door, which makes it feel homey (and they're delicious!). My mom lived alone for 27 years and had only a few friends, so I worried she might feel out of place. But in just two days, she was heading out to lunch with her new friends! The residents welcomed her warmly, and she quickly felt at home. The front entrance feels like a living room, and whenever I visit, people are chatting over coffee and reading the paper. If you're considering Vintage Newport for a loved one, stop worrying—you’ll sleep well knowing they are safe, loved, and well cared for. The onsite nurse, is always busy but never too busy to help. She knows everyone’s name and always has a smile, making sure everyone thrives. I’m incredibly grateful I found Vintage Newport. The staff is very loving and treats everyone like their own family. It’s a feeling that truly touches the soul.

"Great place with friendly staff and convenient location!"

We like the vintage style. The staff is great, and we’re really happy with them. We’d suggest this place to anyone looking. The caregivers provide really good care and make everything positive. We picked this place because it's friendly and convenient for our whole family. Our relative gets many visits from family.

"Nice, friendly place with good care"

Everything has been great so far! My loved one hasn’t been here long, but I can't think of anything they could do better. The place looks nice, the staff is friendly, and the care is good.

"Aiming for Improvement with Heart"

This place had a bumpy start, but they're trying hard. They could be better at keeping us informed about what's going on. We chose it because they seemed genuine, and some staff really go the extra mile. But, there are still some things that need fixing. Overall, they care, but they're still figuring things out.

"Respect and kindness make it feel like home."

We just moved my mom into Vintage Newport East. From the moment she walked in for the tour, friendly residents welcomed her. The staff has been so helpful and kind, making her feel at home. The prices seem reasonable for the location and services. The respect and care she gets is exactly what we wanted.

"Nice property, perfect room size, visiting for evaluation soon."

Nice property. The rooms are a perfect size with a view of patios. It costs $2700 plus extra points. We're taking Mom on Thursday for a visit and evaluation.

"High-End and pricy assisted living facility"

It's too fancy and costs too much.
