"Mixed Experience at Oakmont Assisted Living"
Oakmont Assisted Living met her needs while she stayed there. Good things include the nice outdoor areas, the inside common spaces, and the individual rooms. The place was always really clean, so the cleaning crew is definitely doing a good job. Also, some of the social events seemed enjoyable. My experiences with the staff were always pleasant. Downsides are the food and the availability of care. If having good meals was important, I would search somewhere else. If needing consistent assisted living care (including rides to the doctor) was important, I would look somewhere else or be ready to hire extra outside help.

"Mixed Feelings About Oakmont Gardens Assisted Living"
Oakmont Gardens has friendly and responsive staff. The community is growing and has room to improve. I chose Oakmont Gardens because it's close to my family and larger than others. I would recommend it with some reservations. It meets my husband's needs but not mine. I'm younger and healthy, and living separately due to costs.

"Lovely place but too pricey"
We took a tour of Oakmont Gardens and it is a very nice place. Unfortunately, it's too expensive for what we were looking for.

"No convenient parking!"
Oakmont was a disappointment. We couldn't even tour because parking was impossible. When I explained our situation, they just told us to park across the street. They didn't seem to care about our appointment. I mentioned my sister's walker, but they insisted there was a lighted walkway. She couldn't walk that far. Overall, it was a bad experience, so we left.

"Wonderful facility with great food, activities, and spacious rooms!"
My loved one is having a great experience at Oakmont Gardens! The building is large, bright, and open, with plenty of natural light. They really enjoy the people there and love the food. There are lots of activities to choose from, and the room is spacious with a kitchen so they can still have some independence. This is a fantastic place!

"Friendly staff, clean place, good food, activities available."
The staff is very friendly and polite. The place is clean and has a nice feel. I didn’t try the food during our visit, but it looks fresh and has different choices. They offer activities, but my in-laws decided not to join in.

"Clean and friendly assisted living, not right for our needs."
This place is nice with friendly people. It's kept clean and nice. The workers are nice and friendly too. We had a good time here. We had to think about many things when choosing a place for my parents. This place wasn't the one for us, but it's nice.

They need to fix some things, like the bathrooms, but it's a nice place where it is. It's quiet. The staff has been pretty good so far. I like the people there. My mom doesn't like the food, but she orders in her room instead of going to the dining room. Overall, I've been okay with it. They check on her more often than the previous place she was at.

"Decent Place Overall"
I think they need to upgrade some things, like the bathrooms and stuff, but it's in a nice spot. It's quiet. The staff seems pretty good so far. I like the people. My mom doesn't like the food, but she orders delivery to her room instead of going to the dining room. Overall, I've been okay with it. They check on her more often than the last place she was at.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
It wasn't right for my mom. They didn't have memory care. We had to pay a lot for extra care on top of assisted living. Dad wanted to be closer to me, so we moved. Overall, it was nice, and the staff were friendly.

"No Memory Care"
It wasn't quite right for my mom. They didn't have memory care, so we needed almost 24-hour care on top of regular assisted living. The cost got out of hand. Eventually, we decided to move because Dad wanted to be closer to me. Overall, it was nice, and the staff were friendly.

"We really like it here and the staff is wonderful."
We really like it here. We don't join many activities, but there are plenty. It's just what we need. We go to the dining room for meals, and I'm very happy with that. The dining room staff and everyone else are wonderful. They're the best. We needed a two-bedroom, and they had it.
