"Nice but pricey assisted living facility, welcoming atmosphere."

: This place is really nice, and everyone is so friendly. But it might cost us a lot of money.

"Affordable living costs didn't match; sales pressure felt uncomfortable."

This place was too pricey for my loved one's budget. The salespeople were a bit too insistent, and that made me uncomfortable.

"Too Much Party Vibes at Assisted Living Facility"

Certainly! Here's the rewritten review in 8th-grade level American English: "[Name removed] and Mom visited the assisted living facility on [date removed]. They found it to be too much like a party atmosphere." And here's the summary headline:

"Disappointing Experience: Inadequate Care Despite High Costs and Good Food"

Our experience wasn't great. Even though my wife can't walk, they said she was okay to stay. She needs a lift to move, but the caregivers didn't know how to use it properly after their training. I had to help a lot. Also, the caregivers are often late for their rounds. Sometimes we waited over an hour after pressing the call button. Basically, we're not happy with what we're paying for. I'll say the food in the dining room is good. But we're always late for meals because of the slow service. I can't recommend this place for assisted living based on our experience. But I liked the staff and the building itself, which is why I'm giving it five stars.

"Great first impression, memory care handled well"

This place seems to really know how to handle memory care. My first impression of both the facility and the staff was excellent.

"Friendly Staff and Good Presentation"

I recently visited this community for my loved one, and I don't have any complaints about how things went. The staff were punctual for our appointment and took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. The presentation was well done, and they even offered us a meal to try during our visit. Overall, it's a great place, but unfortunately not the right fit for my mother.

"Excellent Care and Communication from the Staff"

The staff has been wonderful with my parent and keeps us well-informed. When we visit, we get to talk with them, too. I'm really happy with the care they provide.

"Great Activities and Friendly Staff!"

This place has a lot to offer. They have a billiards lounge, a game room, and a library. It's also in a good spot, close to shopping centers and a church. The staff I met during my tour were really nice and paid attention to me.

"Outstanding Care and Communication at Oakmont of Chino Hills"

My father has dementia and is staying at Oakmont of Chino Hills. Sometimes his bathroom isn’t as clean as it could be, but that’s more due to my dad’s condition than anything the staff is doing wrong. The staff understands dementia really well and helped get him on the right medication, making a huge difference. It was tough for a while, but the staff worked tirelessly, and they did an amazing job. The job they do is very hard, but they handle it excellently. The meals are great, and residents are treated like royalty. There are also good activities to keep everyone engaged, and the staff is always watching over them. They are very good at keeping me informed too; if there’s ever an issue or something I need to know, they call me right away. I’m really grateful for their help.

"Assisted Living: Caring for Dad"

Oakmont is a nice, clean place with friendly staff. The food is served like in a restaurant and tastes good. They're very accessible to families. My dad lives here, and while it's not cheap, I recommend Oakmont as a home for loved ones.

"So far, so good"

My mom has only been at this Memory Care facility for about a month, but it’s much nicer than the place she came from, and it costs less. The staff is more professional and keeps her engaged in activities instead of letting her stay in her room all the time. Her room is also really nice, and overall, I feel good about it.

"Oakmont: Perfect Assisted Living with Caring Staff and Fun Activities"

Quality is top-notch! The staff here is fantastic. My parents’ health has really improved since moving in. The dining team is fun and involved, and the dining manager is super kind and makes sure we enjoy our meals. There are so many activities available that it can be hard to pick one. The housekeepers attend to every detail with a smile. The front office staff and desk attendants are a pleasure. The manager even brings treats for the pets that come by her office. My parents were nervous about moving, but now they feel safe and loved. Oakmont is definitely the right place for our family!

"Nice place with room for improvement in communication and food"

Overall, they're doing a good job. There are some things that could be better, like communication and how they handle complaints. They have a group of residents who can speak up, but not everyone gets heard. The food could be improved too; it sometimes comes cold, and the servers are young and could use some training. But it's one of the better places out there. They keep it clean and there are lots of activities. They have a doctor and nurse who visit, plus a ballroom, game room, movie theater, and a big formal dining room. You can book rooms for family visits at no extra charge. There are swimming pools and many rooms. They serve wine and even have lobster once a month for birthdays. There’s also a cozy coffee shop with cookies. It would be nice if there were better ways for people to meet each other, like a meet-and-greet event. The place is beautiful, with a fireplace in each room. However, management could improve by interacting more with residents. The outside doesn’t show how big it really is.

"Super happy with them, I'd give them a six!"

Sure, here's the rewritten review: "We are super happy with them, I'd give them a six if I could. They were way better than any other place I saw. There's really no comparison. Other places were sad and pathetic, but we're really lucky to be with Oakmont." "Clean, Friendly Place with Good Food and Parking"

The place is really nice and clean, with friendly staff. It feels like a fancy hotel. We had no trouble finding laundry or parking. The food is good, but the activities could be improved a bit.

"Elegant, well-located, with great rooms and extra features"

I really liked the place it’s very elegant and in a great spot. The rooms are great too, whether you choose a studio or a two-room setup. They have a music room and special dining areas for when you have family visiting. I’m also interested in their special tub. It is a bit expensive, though. You pay based on the services you need. There’s a $5000 entry fee, and you have to be evaluated by a nurse and doctor.

"Wonderful Choice for My Dad’s Memory Care Needs"

I started looking for an assisted living place for my 82-year-old dad when he began showing early signs of dementia. After visiting a few places, we found Oakmont. Initially, we were unsure if he was ready to leave his home, but within 4-6 weeks, his condition worsened to a moderate stage, so he needed more care than regular assisted living offered. I saw a commercial with Joan Lunden about A Place for Mom and reached out through their website. They were incredibly kind and helpful. They connected me with various providers in the area, who all called to see if I wanted to tour their properties and assist with my dad. Even after choosing Oakmont, other facilities continued to check in and offer help, which made the whole process much less stressful. Oakmont has a warm, homey feeling. The staff, from the front desk to the whole team, is outstanding and caring. Cassia, who showed us around, was very patient and never made us feel rushed. Ines, the Director in Traditions where my dad lives, is exceptionally caring and seems to truly enjoy her job and the residents. I toured six other memory care facilities, but none compared to Oakmont. My dad’s memory has even slightly improved, thanks to the daily activities and social interactions. He says he loves it there and feels much less alone. He’s also eating well. I highly recommend touring Oakmont; I hope you feel as positive about it as I do.
