"Dissatisfied Family Accuses Oakmont of Poor Care and Dishonesty"

This place is nice to look at, but that's it. Seriously. They totally scam you with their leveled system. The care they gave was awful, and the food was so-so at best. And their so-called "activities" were a total laugh! My family and I were always complaining about the bad quality care my wife got. She was there for around 8 months, and even with all our complaints, the director said she wouldn't talk to my family, just me! While there, my wife broke her hip, and the director seriously gave us zero info about how it happened. It looked like they were trying to hide something about the incident. After she broke her hip, I moved my wife to Mercy Care in Oakland – they were great there. We ended up part of a lawsuit against them. It wasn't even about the care; it was all about the lies they told us when we first took my wife to them back in 2018. They lost the suit. Awful place!!!!

"Mixed food quality, good value; great activities, recommend traditions department."

The food quality decreased, but great value for the money. Close to home, nicest quality, good price, liked the people. Loved one enjoys activities like zumba, painting, and chair yoga. Recommend traditions department to other families.

I visited this place, and it was decent. The place was clean, and the staff was super friendly. Unfortunately, it didn’t suit my loved one.

The cost changes each month depending on the care needed, and they don't tell you beforehand. I'm still waiting for my $500 deposit for my pet. It's a really expensive place overall, but the caregivers are good.

"Excellent care and compassionate staff for hospice care"

My father is in hospice here, and they are making him as comfortable as possible during his final days. The staff is amazing and provides excellent care. I would recommend them to anyone.

"Great Place with Helpful Staff and Lots of Amenities!"

This place was one of our top picks for my loved one. The building looked great inside and out, and it had many amenities. The staff knew their stuff and gave us lots of helpful info during our visit. I would suggest this place to anyone needing extra care for their loved one.

"Fantastic Assisted Living with Great Staff and Excellent Food"

The staff is amazing, and the place is modern and spotless. My mom loves living there and says the food is excellent. They offer plenty of activities for everyone, and if needed, residents can move from Assisted Living to Memory Care.

"Highly Recommended!"

I visited this community for a tour. They have nurses on hand, and it's pet friendly. There are plenty of enjoyable activities for the residents, plus they provide meals. I'd recommend it for a loved one or friend.

"Great care, helpful staff, liked the facility, needs more help."

The care here has been wonderful, and they do a great job. I really like this facility. There’s nothing bad about this place. My dad will be moving soon because he needs more help than they can provide. Everything was fantastic, and they helped me a lot, even when things got overwhelming.

"High Staff turnover and Unfulfilled Promises at Care Facility"

Our relative has been living there for several months now. This place has been a letdown with a high turnover of employees. In less than a year, we've seen three different executive directors come and go. The main aim of the current director seems to be to increase fees and profits, but there just isn't enough staff on hand to fulfill proper resident care. A bunch of families, including ours, are unhappy and dissatisfied. Although some changes are taking place, it seems like it will take a good few more months before any stability is reached. Their chief objective is to get residents into the facility, but they seem to have no plan on how to keep their employees or maintain the quality of care. So many unfulfilled promises!

"Great First Month for Mom"

My mom’s first weeks here in May went really well. The staff has been super helpful, and the head nurses are very smart. They also get along great with my dad.

The staff here are highly trained and really excited about their work. My family member was at two other places before, and the care at Oakmont is way better.

"New Facility Needs More Staff and Better Communication"

This new spot with new workers sure has much room for improvement. The team wants to do well but there just aren't enough folks around to make things work smoothly. Plus, they need to talk to each other better.

"New, beautiful facility with nice staff and great service"

This is a brand new, beautiful facility. My father was one of the first to move in, and everything has been great. Since it’s new, they are still working out a few issues, but that’s expected and not a problem. It’s a wonderful place with an amazing building and very nice staff.

"Friendly staff, great food, and always smiling faces."

My loved one has been here for a couple of months. It’s a brand new place. I’m not completely happy with the care she’s getting. I also wish they would involve her more in activities and get her out of her room. Other than that, I’m very pleased. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is great. Everyone always has a smile. The location is okay, but there’s no public transportation nearby. They’re still figuring things out.
