""Poor packing services and lack of respect at assisted living facility.""
Recently, my dad passed away due to COVID-19. Because of the situation, we weren't allowed to go in and pack up his belongings. We were instructed by the facility when to pick up his stuff, which was poorly packed and seemed pretty disrespectful. I had given them boxes, bubble wrap, and tape to use, but was disappointed to see how carelessly they had packed things. My mom’s valuable china and 200-year-old crystal glasses had not been protected at all. It feels like they don’t really care about their residents, just the money they bring in. These are elderly individuals who, yes, may have money, but they deserve utmost respect at all times. I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone.

"Warm and Caring Assisted Living with Patient Staff"
Oakmont was the first of three facilities I visited. I liked how they took time to show me around and explain initial details and costs. It was important for me to understand everything so I could share it with my family. The person I dealt with, , was patient and helpful both when I visited and when we talked on the phone and exchanged emails during the month it took me to decide. and were both very warm and caring and respected my decision no matter what I chose.

"Nice and new, but too big and expensive for us"
We visited this place and it was really nice. It was new and pretty, and I would have loved to choose it. However, it was a bit too big for us and also very pricey. Still, it's a great place.
