"High-Quality Memory Care with Cost Considerations"

We picked Oakmont of Brookside because my brother-in-law had Parkinson's dementia and needed immediate care. Their memory care is top-notch, but it's quite pricey. Keep in mind that costs can rise if your loved one's condition worsens.

"Informative tour, impersonal atmosphere, just okay experience."

The tour was informative, but the atmosphere felt impersonal.

"Clean, spacious rooms with helpful staff near family; recommended for families."

We picked Oakmont of Brookside because it’s close to family and very clean when we visited. Everyone there was nice. The rooms in the facility are big and have lots of space. We were in a hurry when we chose, so I’d suggest others take more time to understand what assisted living is like. She moved from another state, so they helped with many things like finding doctors. I would suggest them to other families looking for a place.

"Friendly caregivers, but management needs better coordination"

The caregivers are friendly and hardworking, but we've noticed there's a lack of coordination between management and the care staff, and also between management and the families. A lot of the care happens when we're not around, and with the restrictions, it's hard to see everything. But from what we've seen, our loved one is well cared for. They are always willing to help and assist her. Our loved one has a social life and loves joining in the activities with her new friends. She also gets her medication regularly and all her needs are met.

"Deceptive Assisted Living Facility Lacks Necessary Staff"

They tricked me into thinking, using their "expert" judgement, that they had the needed care for my mom. They don't. They don't have enough staff. My mom died two months after going there.

"Amazing Support and Care at Atria Bayside Landing"

To Whom It May Concern, I usually don't write reviews, but I need to share my experience to help others in a similar situation. We moved Mom into Atria Bayside Landing after years of trying to manage caregiving at home with hired help and family. From the moment I walked through those doors, I knew we made the right choice. I toured 8 senior living communities in Stockton and chose the best for Mom. The Executive Director, guided me through every step, from start to finish. She showed me around, completed the agreement with me, answered all my many questions, and even responded to my emails within minutes, no matter the time. Thank you! The maintenance team was fantastic. When we moved in, they helped set everything up. The carpets were brand new, as were the paint and furnishings. Everything was so clean. The caregivers, especially and are incredibly sweet and have really connected with Mom. They help her with dignity, and I couldn't ask for a better place.

"Amazing staff, great care, excellent value, highly recommend"

I am very happy with the care from the amazing staff. The community is clean, and they keep her room spotless. Their restaurant has great food, and the servers are friendly and attentive to meal needs. She enjoys the activities, especially the small trips outside the community. We highly recommend this place for its excellent value and top-notch care for families.

"Top-Notch Care and Comfort at Atria!"

My loved one is really enjoying their time at Atria! The staff are amazing and take excellent care of them. The food is also really good. Everything is going great, and we have no complaints at all about the place!

"Not Impressed with Administrative Staff"

The kitchen and support staff have been friendly and helpful. However, I'm not impressed with the administrative staff. They've been misleading, not forthright, and use corporate jargon. We've had billing issues, and correcting them hasn't been easy. The food is okay, but they didn't clean my loved one's carpet before she moved in.

"We feel good about this community."

The staff are great—supportive, respectful, and encouraging. They’re working hard to help my aunt improve and treat her with care. Everyone is professional and quick to respond. The menu looks good, and they have lots of activities and trips. The community is clean and well kept. You can tell they really care about the residents. I would recommend this place.

"Prompt and Caring Staff"

The rule here is if you press a call button, someone will be there within 10 minutes. They’ve always been quick to respond when needed. My mom’s apartment has call buttons in every room. The only problem is the elevator is far from her apartment, which can be tough sometimes. Since she moved in, I’ve seen craft projects, exercise classes, Mojito happy hours (if okay with medical records), and performers. She loves her meals, especially since breakfast is served all day. There’s a good variety and daily specials. I feel better knowing she’s safe with staff around all night, and she feels safe too. They have a beautiful and secure courtyard with great landscaping. Everyone is nice and helpful. I chose this place because it’s where I would want to go too. They are recommendable, but it is expensive.

"Not your typical senior living community!"

So far, they’re amazing. She stays really active and joins in a lot. When we went to pick her up the other day, she was busy with yoga and aromatherapy. It doesn’t look like a regular old folks’ home, and that’s why we like it. It’s very close to our house, so if she needs anything, we can be there quickly. My mom said they have an alternative menu if you don’t like the main one, but it costs extra. She loves the desserts and has gained weight since moving in. Her studio is actually pretty big.

"Needs improvement on menu"

They should work on their menu and vary the lunch and dinner options instead of serving the same food every week.

"A wonderful, caring place to call home!"

Atria Bayside Landing is a wonderful place for senior living! It feels classy, peaceful, and most importantly, warm and friendly. From my experience, the staff is very caring and dedicated to the residents. They know everyone by name and treat them like family! Our family is truly proud to call this place home!

"Definitely worth taking a look!"

I had heard a lot about Atria while searching for a place for my great grandmother. She lives at another facility right now, but it’s been tough with her being so far away. I’m really glad I checked it out! The staff was super friendly, and the food smelled amazing. The residents said they have activities all day, which is awesome.

"Impressive Community Tour Experience"

I visited this place for a tour and it looked really nice and tidy. The person showing me around made sure to cover everything well. I also appreciated the activities they offer for the people living there. Overall, they seemed to do a great job, and it's definitely something to consider.

"Atria Bayside Landing - Worth Every Penny!"

This review is for Atria Bayside Landing. Atria Bayside Landing is definitely a 5-star community. I can't speak for other Atria places, but this one is worth a visit. I started looking over a year ago and met their nice sales director. She kept in touch with me and encouraged me throughout my search. My first tour was amazing, but I wanted to think it over because it costs money to live there. I finally moved in, and it's worth every penny. Now, I'm enjoying life with friendly people, great food, fun activities (if I want to), and beautiful surroundings. Thank you, Atria Bayside Landing! 5 stars from this old guy.

"Great tour and tasty meals!"

Atria Bayside Landing is a great place. The tour guide explained all the paperwork clearly. They have different meal options, and my sister got a free meal during the tour, which she enjoyed. The community was clean and well-organized.

"Exemplary staff, wonderful community!"

Atria Bayside Landing was amazing! My whole family thought so. My Aunt got to choose her own room from three options. She picked a studio, and it was just the right size. She loved it, especially the afternoon sun coming through the windows. She felt good about the place, and the other residents were super friendly, introducing themselves and calling each other by their first names. It felt like home. My Aunt was very picky, but she was really happy there. The staff was outstanding! They were friendly and helpful from our first tour. They always checked on my Aunt to make sure she was happy and see if she wanted to go outside to the courtyard, even though she was in a wheelchair. We were thrilled that there was someone in charge of activities with a schedule full of variety, like lectures and discussions. They even let her brother join in and play poker. The food choices were great too. I can see myself moving there in the future. Sadly, my Aunt was only there a short time before she passed away. I would suggest lowering the security lock box for those in wheelchairs and adding a skilled nursing unit. My Aunt had been at another place before Atria Bayside, and it was twice as expensive but not nearly as nice or as active. They didn’t have their priorities right.

"Great Activities, But Some Service Issues"

They are really good at getting her out and involved in activities. The only problem is they say it's an eat-anytime place, but my mom feels like the staff doesn't like serving at certain times and can be rude. They also said all employees have tablets to communicate with hard-of-hearing residents, but that's not true.

"Misleading pricing and tour experience; not worth the hassle."

I called to find out how much a one-bedroom apartment cost before I made an appointment. They told me it was $500 less than what they said when I went for the tour. They also said the application fee would be waived on the phone, but during the tour, they said I had to pay over $2000 for it. I don't remember the exact amount, but it was crazy. No amount of paperwork is worth that much. They should pay me for having to fill out all those papers. The tour guide, who was a guy named Lin, turned me off completely. There were so many differences between what I was told on the phone and what he said during the tour. I definitely felt like they were purposefully misleading me.

"Friendly Senior Community Thrives at Atria"

Atria Bayside Landing is a pretty good spot for older folks to find a cozy community they can enjoy. My dad moved in over a month ago, and wow, has he changed! He’s become super friendly, met a bunch of new pals, and he’s really happy there. The staff is super nice and always there for everyone, making sure all the residents are happy and healthy, day and night.

"Comforting and elegant, worth the wait!"

I visited several communities today, and this one stood out. It’s elegant but feels like home. I'm moving closer to my two children in six months, and while I'm nervous about the change, I felt much better after meeting with the staff. I even added my name to the waitlist since they're fully booked.

"5 Stars: Dad's Happiness is Priceless"

My dad lives at Bayside Landing. He has a big one-bedroom apartment. I visit him every week and I'm so happy he has such a good life here. You can't put a price on his happiness, but it's worth every penny.

"Above and Beyond Care"

The food was amazing. The chef made bacon-wrapped scallops for happy hour, and wow, they were so tender and flavorful! The staff felt like family to the residents. I've visited many senior living communities, and Atria goes above and beyond for their residents and guests.

"Run to Bayside Landing Now!"

I checked out every place in Stockton. I’ve lived here for over 85 years and didn’t want to move. Bayside Landing is the best place with good prices for seniors. TRUST ME. I saw them all! The staff are caring, kind, and private. Many of them have been here since it opened 15 years ago! That says a lot. Aron, the marketing director, is awesome. The nurse is great. The chef makes the best food. It’s like eating at a restaurant. I’m a happy gal. Thank you.

"Wonderful staff and peaceful setting for loved ones' care."

Atria Bayside Landing has been a blessing for our family. The experience so far has been exceptional, and I’m grateful for their high level of care. When choosing a place for a loved one, it’s important to find one with integrity, and Atria delivers on that. The staff is kind and helpful, especially Aron, who has been incredibly supportive and attentive to all our questions. Patricia, Elaine, and Cameron have also been wonderful, ensuring everything is ready for mom's move-in. The environment at Atria is beautiful, with gardens, fountains, and trails around a peaceful lake. They even allow small pets, which is great! We had a delicious lunch during our tour, and the food quality has been excellent since. We look forward to mom’s new chapter here, and Atria feels like a place where people genuinely care. We feel blessed to have found such a welcoming community.

"Beautiful Haven"

The place wasn't secure enough for my mom. It's meant for people who won't wander off. It's a lovely spot. If you can afford it, it's great. But it didn't suit my mom.

This place has a lot of cool things to do, which is nice. And it's in a safer area of Stockton.

"Great director, friendly staff, and beautiful open-plan units"

I met with the director, and she was great and very helpful. Patty was super patient and really understood our situation. The tour was excellent, and the open plan units are beautiful. The staff and residents are friendly too. This place definitely deserves 5 stars!
