Ocean Hills Senior Living (Opening Early 2019)

"Poor facility with uncaring staff and overpriced fees."
If you like feeling unnoticed by the bosses, then you'll like this place. The main problem starts with the folks in charge, especially [names] in Memory Care. My Mom was in Memory Care, but she didn't receive the proper care she deserved. Besides two med-techs, [names], no one else in the staff seemed to care. It was always dirty and stank at all times. Moreover, it's really pricey! They'll find every small reason to charge you more to get extra money from you. When we moved out, we were paying [amount] for subpar care. Don't bother spending your money and time here!

"Unsatisfactory Memory Care and Patient Handling at Facility"
The services in the memory care department are really bad. They do a poor job handling new patients. Plus, their care for dementia patients is not good. I wouldn't suggest this place for memory care.

"Emergency Button Mishap at Assisted Living Facility"
They made a big mistake when my mom switched rooms. They didn't update her emergency button files. She fell early in the morning, and when she pressed the button, they went to her old room. She lay on the floor with bleeding scrapes for over 30 minutes. I had to call and guide the staff to her. The director, , is sweet and tried to make up for it.

"Affordable and Nice Assisted Living Improves Stability for Residents"
We chose this community because it was the nicest and most affordable option available. The rooms are really nice too. Since moving in, my loved one has become more stable.

"Nice manager, few activities seen, new construction ongoing."
The manager was very nice, and we liked the community. However, they were building a new part, and I didn't see many activities for the residents during the tour.

"Friendly Staff and Great Food at Ocean Hills"
We picked Ocean Hills for two main reasons. First, the food was great—we got to try a meal, and it was really good. Second, the staff were super friendly. During our first tour, they knew everyone by name and greeted us, making it feel like a family.

"Great Activities and Personalized Care at Ocean Hills"
Things at Ocean Hills have been great for my mom. They recently started new activities and are talking to all the residents to make sure the activities match what everyone wants and likes.

"Good Staff, Bad Management: Seek Other Assisted Living Options"
The help from the staff here is wonderful, but the management is really bad. They're often late with medicines and delivering food - that's not okay. The caregivers are fantastic, but the folks in charge - the administration - let things get messed up because they don't communicate well. They also don't listen to what families need and seem full-of-themselves. Even the hospice folks think the administration isn't doing a good job. You're better off looking for a different place.
