"Neglected Care and Communication Woes"
The bathroom hasn’t been cleaned since my dad arrived. The sheets are unchanged, and the floor and sink are dirty. Other residents keep barging into his room, confused and lost. Dad wears the same clothes every day. I asked for a cleaning schedule, but got no response. They don’t return calls, and it’s impossible to talk to your loved one. They act nice, but it’s all for show. There’s no stimulation or activities, and my father feels ignored because others need more attention. I’m concerned and need to move out soon.

"Supportive staff, limited food options, recommended for caregiving needs."
The assisted living facility and its staff were really helpful and supportive. [[Name removed]], the receptionist, and the nursing staff were attentive and knowledgeable, which was great for Mom. However, I wish the food menu had more choices for the residents. It was the first place recommended to us by A Place for Mom, and we would definitely suggest it to others!

"Ask questions before choosing. Care lacks for price."
Make sure to ask lots of questions before choosing Pacifica Merced. The staff is nice, but the care isn't great for the price.

"Excellent assisted living, almost perfect for elderly care, future consideration."
This place is really good. They give almost everything my dad needs and it's a nice place to live. I might even live there myself someday, thinking about it for the future.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living facility"
We had some problems with the place. At first, we were happy that my family member was going there. But they fell multiple times while staying there. The place did help with hospice care for our family member. But they don't have enough staff, which was hard for us. My family member never got to wear their own clothes, and their jewelry went missing while they were there. After my family member passed away, the place didn't offer their condolences to us, which was disappointing.
