"Poor Care and Unpleasant Staff at Assisted Living Facility"
The place looks nice and is kept clean. But the food is really bad, and the care they provide isn't good. The people who take care of my dad were mean and unprofessional. We had to find a different place for him.

"Assisted Living Facility Fails Basic Bed-Making Service"
We're really upset that they're stopping bed-making after washing the linens in March. My 92-year-old mother, who uses a walker, can't do this herself. It should be a basic service. Shame on them!

"Clean and Comfortable Assisted Living Facility with Helpful Staff"
We really liked the facility. It's super clean and well-maintained. My dad's apartment is really nice and comfy. The staff has been quick to answer our questions. A month after my dad moved in, they started using a new online rent system. It's been a bit tough because there are some quirks they're working out. We're hopeful they'll fix those things and make it easier in the future. Overall, I'd give the facility a high rating and definitely recommend it to others who might want their parents to move there. The only downside is the food, but I hear that's pretty normal for places like this.

"Good Service, Some Equipment Issues at Living Facility"
The people who work here are really great. They keep my room and everything super clean and nice. But when stuff breaks, like the machine that makes waffles or the toaster, it takes them a long time to fix it. Like, we haven’t had waffles for half a year or more. And no movies or church for two whole months because the projector broke. But I gotta say, the food for lunch and dinner has been pretty tasty lately.

I have toured numerous retirement communities and Pacifica is my favorite! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The facilities are beautiful. Pacifica is changing any misconceptions about assisted living and makes us aware of how fabulous retirement living can be. I still have that feeling of not only being warmly welcomed but also returning home to my new Pacifica family.

The building is beautiful. The tour was very educational and our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Right after the tour we put down a deposit, it was that impressive. Beautiful building. Thank you!

So impressive. The staff who greeted us made my mom feel welcome right away! They were so friendly.showed us a model one-bedroom and my mom's actual apartment. My mom loved both, and I could see how excited she was.answered all our questions patiently and was wonderful! Thank you for taking away a lot of the stress we had about moving to Pacifica! Can't wait for my mom to move here and make it her home!

"Friendly Staff and Great Location for Family"
The two ladies who showed me around were really nice and knew a lot. We're excited for my mom and dad to move in. They took our deposit, and it's totally refundable. I'm very happy we found a place so close to my family.

I had to move my mom from skilled nursing in North Carolina to assisted living in California, and I knew nothing about senior living. I was so overwhelmed. The Executive Director and Community Relations Director at Pacifica Oceanside treated me like family from the start and helped me every step of the way. They are truly angels, making life better for my whole family.
