"Convenient Senior Living with Some Communication Challenges"
The place was a little pricey and the staff could improve on how they talk. It's in a really good spot and offers rides, the meals are tasty, and it's neat. We chose it because it's near my home.

"Facility Disappoints, Breaking Promises and Causing Unnecessary Stress"
Awful Experience at This Assisted Living Facility. The staff, whose names I won't mention, just don't care about the individuals they're meant to assist. Keep your distance! They made a pledge to us, we booked a room, paid a deposit, set up moving arrangements, and even endured unbearable 110-degree heat during our visits to the facility from LA. We were all set for the expected moving day, only to receive a sudden message from one of their staff members stating they can't accommodate us after all. I find this completely unjust. Their own nurse had given us the green light following a comprehensive health evaluation that we had to pay for out of our own pockets. All of our meticulous planning wasted in a moment. They're playing around with people's lives here. They simply aren't bothered. No apology is sufficient to alleviate the stress and anxiety induced by this whole affair. If they behave so poorly prior to admission, I can't imagine the level of care shown to those actually living there. This facility doesn't keep its promises. The staff, whose names I won't mention, are dishonest and deceitful. They casually disrupted somebody's entire life - who acts like this? Stay away, this place is downright terrible.

Avoid this place at all costs! They're just plain unfair and their business methods are despicable. They'll take your cash, secure a place for your elderly relative, and then take it all back. My family had spent a ton of time relocating my aging mom. We didn't face any problems, finished assessments, settled on her required level of care, chose her room, and kept it secured. But barely a day after all this, the facility totally backed out and claimed she wasn't a fit. [name] is no better than a flashy, dishonest car dealer. She'll promise you everything but won't deliver. [name] is the boss. He's biased and gives preference based on his whim. What kind of business gets your hopes high and bails at the last minute? It's completely wrong how seniors are being deceived here. Unfair treatment is the norm at this place. [name] straight up lied, end of the story. "A Great Place: Mom Loves The Palms Assisted Living"
I’m really glad we found this place. We checked out several other options nearby, but none felt as right as The Palms. They never pushed us to decide quickly, and everything they said has turned out to be true. My mother-in-law moved in a month ago, and she’s been very happy there. We were worried she might not like it and want to come back home, but that hasn’t happened. When we take her out, she makes sure we return before her meal. She constantly tells us how nice the staff are and how glad she is to be there. Thanks to everyone at The Palms Assisted Living for taking such great care of our mom. You’re like angels!

"Friendly staff and fun activities make it a great place"
I moved in about a month ago, and the staff are really nice. They work hard to make each day enjoyable. I really like [name removed], the activity director. He’s super friendly and always singing. Thanks for taking such good care of us!

"You're the best!"
I highly recommend this place. The staff is friendly, and the food is great. They even have a movie theater! My favorite thing is the soft serve ice cream machine in the bistro. Thank you for an awesome experience!

"Amazing place! Dad loves it and feels like family!"
My dad has lived here since it opened. He started in Independent Living and then moved to Assisted Living. The transition was easy, and he has loved it from day one. He enjoys the food and has never had a bad experience with the staff. Everyone truly cares for each resident, and it feels like family. My dad was once very shy and reclusive, but THE PALMS proved me wrong. He now participates in activities and is like a new person. I couldn’t be happier. Moving a loved one here is the best decision!

"A Bad Time at The Palms"
My family member lived at The Palms, and it was bad. When we stayed there, the place was new but managed badly. The staff didn't know what they were doing, the food tasted bad, and not many people lived there so there was almost no socializing or activities. I'd advise against this place.

This is one of the best assisted living places next to Eisenhower Urgent Care in La Quinta, California. I highly recommend it to anyone who cares about their well-being or their family’s.
