"Religious-dominated, lacked support, disappointing."

They hide church ties, surrounded by religious residents, no help finding others.

"Mixed Bag: Paradise Valley Village Assisted Living Facility Review"

The Paradise Valley Village has lots of good stuff and a few not-so-good ones too. The building, upkeep, and management are top-notch and make living here enjoyable. However, the food is expensive, strange, and often not even edible. It's like they have a chef who doesn't know what they're doing. The soups, salads, and drinks are tasty, and some meals are okay, but most of the time, it's not great. The staff is nice and helpful though. Paying $450 a month for food doesn't seem fair when it's not up to par. Some folks are only paying $250, which adds to the confusion.

"Great Staff and Amenities!"

I had a good experience touring this place. The staff showed up on time for our appointment and answered all my questions really well. I liked how open and spacious the layout was, and they had lots of different foods to choose from and activities for the people who live there. It was easy to get to and looked nice. But it didn't end up being the right place for my mom.

"Friendly Tour Guide at Paradise Village, But Not My Favorite"

I went to check out Paradise Village for my dad. The tour was okay, not my top pick. The person showing us around was nice and answered my questions.

"A Home Away from Home"

This place is pretty new and has lots of cool stuff. They let you have a friend to hang out with, and if you're feeling upset, there's a quiet spot to relax. Plus, they even have a special place for people who like fixing cars! You can watch movies there too, and there's a big room for doing fun things.

"Perfect for Loved Ones' Care"

I'm happy with the care my loved one receives here. The staff is caring and always attentive to her needs. The meals are good, and she enjoys the activities offered. Sometimes, she gets confused, but overall, I would recommend this community for other family members looking to care for their loved ones.

"Great Place but Not Suitable for My Loved One"

Paradise Village was really nice and tidy. The people who work there told us a lot of helpful things. They showed us what kinds of meals they serve and the fun things to do. But, it was a lock down area, and that wasn't good for my family member. They do give rides for free, though, and have lots of cool stuff.

"Friendly Staff, Clean Environment, Delicious Food at Paradise Village"

Paradise Village is super nice. The people who work there are really friendly. Everything is neat and clean. The food they give us is super yummy. I don't have any complaints at all.

"Overpriced and Lacking Activities"

This place is clean and well-kept. My mom liked the staff; they are friendly and take good care of her. The food could be better, though. My stepdad got sick twice and had to go to the hospital because of it. There aren't many activities offered. I'm not happy with the price; I think they could offer more. It feels like this place is all about money and is way too expensive.

"Perfect Place"

My 92-year-old aunt moved to Paradise Village Assisted Living. She enjoys living there because the staff and residents are friendly, the food is good, and she loves her room and roommate.

"Lovely Place, Minor Gnats Issue, Overall Great Experience"

My mom got a nice, new apartment at Paradise Village. It's really pretty and well done. Everybody there is super friendly and helpful. Only problem was some gnats around the kitchen when we ate with mom. Not a big deal, but kinda bothered me. They're trying to fix it though. Besides that, everything's been awesome.

"A B Rating Worth Consideration"

They're doing okay. Food was bad, but it's improving. Good gym. Interesting classes.

"Assisted Living Facility Service Decline Alert"

This place used to be better but now they offer fewer services. It's more for people who stay healthy. They don't help much with things like oxygen and insulin anymore. If you get sick, you're out of luck. It's disappointing.

"Paradise Village: Exceptional Facility with Great Value and Amenities"

Dad will move into Paradise Village in 3 weeks. So far, the experience has been amazing. The staff is exceptional, and the facility is better than any others we've seen. It's only 4 years old, and the developers did a great job with their unique design. The place is friendly, clean, and inviting, making it a great home for anyone. Although it's expensive, it's more affordable than many lower-quality places with fewer amenities. Dad will definitely get good value for his money. We appreciate the one-time community fee, no long-term contracts, and month-to-month occupancy. Mobility scooters and pets are welcome. The food has been excellent, and the facility is secure with gated access. It might take some time to get used to the layout, but Dad is excited about his new life here. I’ll have more updates after Dad has lived here for a few months.

"Aunt's Food Complaints and Facility Changes"

I picked this place for my aunt three years ago because they said they could give her insulin shots if needed. But their certification changed, so when she needed the shots, they couldn't do it, and we had to move her. When she moved in, it was new and clean. The biggest problem my aunt had was with the food. It was a big place, so it felt very institutional. She wasn't used to the west coast flavors like avocados and Mexican food. The people at her table complained about the service in the dining room. But overall, I thought it was pretty good. As the years went by, I noticed the cleanliness wasn't as good. The bathrooms and carpets weren't cleaned well.

"Value-Packed Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"

We like it here! The food could use more variety. Mom thinks the dining service could improve, but she enjoys everything else! They have a dining room, pool, gym, and auditorium. It's way better than other places we looked at and costs less. The rooms are nicer too. It's a great deal for what they offer.

"Satisfactory Assisted Living Experience with Minor Food Complaints"

My parents lived at this place. Dad's a big guy, 240 pounds. It took three folks to help him to the bathroom and such. The boss said they can't have that third helper legally, so Dad had to leave. That's the only reason. Mom and Dad really liked it there. They had a lot of fun and met a bunch of people. The food wasn't amazing, but they had plenty of entertainment.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility Location"

This place is really nice. The only issue is the location.

"Mixed feelings about new assisted living with some caveats"

The assisted living facility is only two years old, which we liked because it's very large and has underground parking. The residents seemed closer to our age, and there are lots of activities available at reasonable costs. However, the neighborhood is very bad, and there is no memory care available. We would love this place if it could be moved to Cardiff by the Sea, but unfortunately, we have to scratch it from our list.
