"Small community, kind staff, room for food and security improvements."

I like the small, bonding community and kind staff. Good location.

"Caring Staff, Mixed Food Quality at Assisted Living Facility"

Overall, we're quite satisfied with where my loved one stays. The caregivers are great—kind and welcoming. However, she isn't fond of the food. It's mostly high in carbs with not enough fresh fruits and veggies. Being diabetic, there are many things she can't eat, and healthier options are scarce. So, when family visits, we bring her fresh fruits and veggies she can enjoy.

"Westmont: Convenient Choice"

We did our research, and Westmont won us over because it's close.

"Westmont of Pinole Falls Short on Care"

Overall, the Westmont of Pinole community convinced us they'd take good care of us, but unfortunately, they're falling short. The food is bad, and there aren't enough staff members. I wouldn't suggest it to others based on our experience.

"Mixed Experience in Assisted Living Facility"

Generally, this place is nice for my mom. The food could be better, not the best. The staff are usually nice, but sometimes a bit short and seem to have a little attitude. I get it though, it must be hard working there. There are plenty of activities, but not many residents participate. Not sure if it's mobility or interest, but my mom is engaged. Of all the places we visited, this felt the most like home. We liked that it was smaller and had a diverse community. I would recommend it to others. Moving in was easy, but there was a lot of paperwork. There was a misunderstanding about her room, which was unfortunate, but she got over it. She's mostly happy there, which is a win.

"New Management, Poor Organization Concern Resident's Family at Assisted Living"

We had to move our mom into this facility. The Executive Director, whose name I've left out, was really helpful during the switch, but the management has since changed. There's a high worker turnover rate in the memory care section, which is worrying. Things are disorganized here - mom's laundry keeps getting lost, and usually, she only has one pair of pants in her closet. Even though they keep adding new residents to the memory care section, they’re not hiring more caregivers to help out. Right now, I'm thinking about finding a different place for mom. It's sad, but it feels like they care more about making money than taking care of our seniors. Seniors should be treated better!

"Mix of Good and Bad at Assisted Living Facility"

While some of the staff here were nice, others weren't as helpful. They didn't prioritize giving residents their medicine. Some even told my mom that they didn't offer those services. The food was tasty and there was a lot to choose from. We picked this place because I had been here a couple of years ago. The people seemed friendly, it's near my house, and I knew the place. But I wouldn't suggest this place if your loved one needs more care. They just couldn't give my mom the care she needed. It felt like we needed a lawyer just to understand their legal stuff.

" "Assisted Living Facility Misleads, Disappoints, and Overcharges""

I was seriously upset with how short my dad's stay at the assisted living facility was. I was looking for a place where he could have access to round-the-clock care as he regained his strength after being in the hospital. They took a deposit and a whole month's rent upfront, promising to return any money for services they didn't end up providing if his stay was short. After just nine days, I decided to move my dad back to his old living place. I got a partial refund for the medical care they didn't give. However, when I tried to add that check to my bank account, it bounced back. Be careful with how this place does business. The unit we had checked out before moving in was completely empty when we got there. Once we managed to make the studio livable, after spending extra cash to rent a bed, the care was okay. When we left the facility and I asked for a copy of my dad's care plan, they accidentally gave me someone else's.

"Friendly and Clean, But a Bit Pricey"

We visited this nice place. It was clean and acceptable. The staff was helpful and answered all our questions. They focused on my mom, not us, which was nice. They were friendly and met our needs. We just needed something closer to us. It was a bit more expensive here.

"Assisted Living Facility Meets Mom's Needs Well"

My mom really likes living there. Everything's been good so far. It's exactly what she needed and we're happy with it. We picked this place because of the staff, and it turned out to be a good match. The food is okay, and Mom is happy and doesn't complain. She's definitely joining in on the exercises and other activities. We have no complaints. When we visit, everything seems orderly, and I haven't noticed anything bad. It's been helpful having someone manage her medicine, which is making her condition better.

"Clean, Friendly, and Good Experience"

The Pinole Senior Living community was really nice. The place was clean, and the tour guide was friendly and knew a lot. Overall, it was a good experience, although not the best fit for my loved one.

"Understaffed Assisted Living: Not Suitable for Loved Ones"

I didn't like this place much when I visited. I was worried mainly about the small number of staff. At night, they only had two workers for over thirty-eight residents, which didn't sit right with me. After hearing that, I decided to find a different place with better care for my mom.
