"Great Senior Care with Caring Staff and Room for Improvement"

Plaza Village is a great choice for senior care. The rooms are suite-style because the building used to be condos. Each unit has three or four bedrooms that share a living room and a full kitchen. The master bedroom is for two people and has a big master bath. The smaller bedrooms are private and might share a bath. The staff is very caring, though sometimes they are a bit slow to respond. The facility is small, so there aren’t many activities, but the Activities Director does a fantastic job keeping residents involved. The food is the biggest issue, which is common in many places. The meals are served at noon with a light supper later. You get one main dish with a choice and some extra salads. There is free underground parking for visitors and outside care services. The facility recently changed owners, and there are plans for improvements, though these will take some time. The Director is easy to reach and listens to concerns. Overall, this was a positive move for my mom and our family.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short for Mom"

My mom didn't like this place. It looks like a regular condo turned into a place for old people. There's hardly any parking on the street, and there's a cheap motel right next door. Plus, it's in a really crowded part of town.

"Limited Room Options: Shared Only"

They only have rooms that you have to share with someone else.

"Navigating Challenges in Wheelchair-Friendly Assisted Living"

Good place, but it's a bit harder to get around in a wheelchair.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Confusing Layout, Dim Dining Area"

This place has different floors that make it hard to figure out where everything is. The dining room is dark and not cheery. People living here have to share a space with four others. Each person gets their own bathroom. Also, they only take people who can pay for themselves.

"Great Place for Seniors!"

My sister and I liked this place a lot. The staff cared about guests and their needs. The building used to be a fancy apartment but now it’s ‘Plaza Village Senior Living and Memory Care.’ The colors and architecture are nice for residents. They have a Chef and Dietician for meals, activities all day, and outings. No RN on-site, though. Rooms are big with kitchens and accessible bathrooms.

"Solid Assisted Living Choice with Room for Improvement"

We picked Plaza Village based on A Place for Mom's recommendation. They've been really helpful over the years. The staff at Plaza Village is amazing and easy to talk to. The staff, who I talk to often, suggested hospice care for my mom, which turned out to be a good idea for her. Someone checks on her every hour, and I feel like there are a lot of people looking out for her. They call me a lot to keep me updated. The staff at the front desk is always friendly and says hello. We chose Plaza Village because it's so clean and modern. The main thing I wish would change is they have some growing pains, and there have been a lot of changes in the staff.

"Mixed Feelings About Shared Living"

This place is friendly, but my mother-in-law doesn’t want roommates.

"Great tour, clean place, friendly guide, no issues noted"

I had a great tour of Plaza Village Senior Living. The place was clean, and the tour guide was friendly and knew a lot. I saw nothing that needed fixing.
