"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Care and Assistance"
I think I brought my dad home too soon. Once he felt he didn't need his oxygen, he insisted on going back! The biggest problem was how long it took for someone to help when we rang the bell. "They left me sitting in my pee." One time, a staff member even put two diapers on me and said to just use them because I was too heavy for her to move. She promised to change me in the morning but never did. Most of the workers are nice and helpful, but some don't seem to try very hard or know what's important. My dad has fallen twice since he came home in less than a day. Do you think he was ready to leave?

"Terrible Care and Unfair Treatment at Plymouth Village Rehab Center"
Plymouth Village's rehab center was terrible for my mom. They didn't start her care, and instead of adjusting her medications to help her succeed, they just sent her home. When I wouldn't sign paperwork that said they were discharging her properly, they reported us to Adult Protective Services. My two brothers/sisters and I were always at Plymouth, trying to help our mom. We're smart, well-spoken, and kind, and did everything we could for our mom. But the manager there was mad and acted without caring or thinking. Plymouth Village, you should feel bad! The social worker from Adult Protective Services who came to our house thought we were doing a great job taking care of mom and was shocked by what Plymouth Village had done. Their actions show that the facility's management is broken and their behavior is just plain wrong. Plymouth Village, it's time for you to take a good look at what you're doing and make some changes. The pain and sadness you caused us isn't right and doesn't match up with what you claim to stand for.

"Plymouth Village's Failing Care: Inflicts Pain, Neglects Ethical Treatment"
The care at Plymouth Village's rehab center was terrible for my mom. They didn't even start her rehab, and instead of monitoring and adjusting her medication to help her, they simply sent her home. When I wouldn't sign papers saying that Mom was properly discharged, they got APS (Adult Protective Services) involved and made an official report. My two brothers or sisters and I tried to help Mom, spending all our time at the facility. We're informed, good at expressing ourselves and really care, and we did everything we could for our mom. However, the person in charge was upset, so she acted without any thought for what was right or fair, or consideration. Plymouth Village should be really embarrassed! The APS social worker who came to see us at Mom's house was really impressed with how well we took care of her and was shocked by what Plymouth Village had done. Clearly your management and behavior are all wrong. Plymouth Village needs to have a long hard look at their aims, staff and how they care for people. You caused a lot of hurt and sorrow to someone and their family, which is the complete opposite of what you say you stand for.

"Costly but clean and friendly; exceeds budget expectations."
We visited this place when we were searching for help for my family member. It's a really nice-looking area, super clean, and the staff were all really nice. But, it's pretty pricey and way over our budget.

"Baptist Church Facility: Phenomenal Care, Pricey Costs"
This assisted living facility, run by the Baptist Church, is wonderful but pricey. The care center is phenomenal, but my mother-in-law wasn't ready for it yet.

"Mixed Experience in Assisted Living Facility"
My dad stayed there for rehab. The campus is nice. It's better for independent people. In rehab (full nursing care), it wasn't great. Call buttons took forever to get a response. We often handled things ourselves before staff arrived. Other care levels are probably better. The food wasn't good in his dining facility. Other parts looked nice during our tour. Different care levels have separate dining areas. In skilled care, you get what they serve you.

"Mixed Experience: Lovely Campus, Inconsistent Care and Dining Options"
My dad stayed there for some time to get better. The place looks really nice. It's probably better for folks who can do more on their own. But when he needed full nursing care, it wasn't so good. Pressing the call button meant waiting a long time for help. Usually, we took care of things ourselves before staff arrived. For other levels of care, it's probably nice. The food wasn't good where he stayed, but they have different dining areas so maybe others are better. We checked out other parts because my dad's wife was looking for a place for them to live after he left rehab. Each care level has its own dining spot. In skilled care, you eat whatever they give you.
