"Quiet neighborhood, minimal activities, caring staff, Mom's happy."
Poets Vista is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Activities are minimal, but they're kind and take good care of Mom. She's happy.

"Attentive Staff and Customized Care in Clean, Home-like Setting"
The home was very clean and looked like it was well taken care of. The staff seemed to pay attention and were dressed neatly. One resident has severe dementia, and another has a mild form of dementia but is still quite active. The home provides three meals a day and snacks. There are always at least two caregivers available around the clock. Medications are stored in a locked closet. Each resident has a care plan that is made just for them. Every Wednesday, someone comes to the home to provide music or another special activity. Caregivers seem to talk and help the residents based on what they need. The caregivers do not have medical training. If someone needs injections or wound care, a different medical professional must come to do it.

"Top-Notch Care for Loved Ones"
This place is great for my dad. It's clean and tidy, and the staff is good. They plan fun stuff for the residents, and the food is tasty. I definitely suggest this place.

"Caring staff, tasty food, highly recommend!"
They do a great job at Poet's Corner! The staff, especially Vicky, really cares about the residents. The place is always clean and smells like freshly cooked food. The food is tasty, and my loved one eats bigger portions and more often since moving in! I highly recommend this place.

"Assisted Living Facility Puts Residents First with Innovative Memory Care"
I really liked how they help with memory. They use a special program they might have created or partnered with someone to develop. It focuses on keeping residents engaged and involved in the community. They offer various activities. They also use music to help people who struggle with sleep. They have an alarm that uses music to gently wake them up or help them fall asleep, which is calming and soothing. They incorporate music a lot, which I appreciate. However, it felt too much like a hospital to me. There weren't any green plants or anything natural—it felt very institutional.

"Thrilled with Care and Support for My Aunt!"
The value is great, and the care is amazing! There aren't a ton of activities, but my aunt isn't really interested in that anyway. I really like the staff, and it was important to find the best place for my aunt. Even though I have to travel to see her, I'm very happy with my choice. When I asked questions, they always had the right answers. My aunt doesn’t want to be there because she prefers being anywhere else, but she never says anything bad about them. The other day, after a doctor's appointment, she told the owner she would miss her while she’s gone. There was a room available with a bathroom. I looked at other places that were cheaper and some that were more expensive, but it wasn’t just about the money; it was about the service. I would highly recommend this place!

"Great Memory Care Methodology"
I really liked how they treat memory at this place. They have a special program that they either created themselves or worked with someone else to develop. It’s all about keeping the residents engaged and part of the community. They offer lots of activities, and they even have a music alarm to gently wake people up or help them fall asleep. It’s a calming approach, and they use music a lot.
