"Assisted Living Delights Families with Safety and Engaging Activities"
The staff is really nice. The place is super clean and organized. They offer lots of fun activities for everyone. My mom is really happy there. It's a big relief for me knowing she's safe and well cared for. They always call me if they notice anything unusual with her, so I'm always informed. They're also very careful with Covid rules - checking temperatures, wearing masks, and screening visitors. It's a gated community and very secure. Overall, it's really nice.

"Assisted Living Visit Review"
We visited Ponte Palmero multiple times. It was our top choice as we decided. The staff gave us lots of helpful information. However, our loved one didn't need a full kitchen. Also, the gardens weren't as open and pretty as she hoped.

"Highly Recommended Cottage Living!"
I was super happy when I found out I could snag one of the cozy cottages here. It's a two-bedroom, two-bathroom place with plenty of room – they call it a duet. Based on what I've seen, I'd totally recommend it to others.

"Concerns about food supply during lockdown, staff appreciated."
My parents seem to be having trouble getting enough food during the COVID-19 lockdown. My dad, especially, is getting skinnier because they can't order anything in and we can't check on them. However, my parents say that the staff are trying their hardest, and we appreciate their efforts during this tough time for everyone.

"Poor Food Quality and Neglected Nutrition at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom lives here and the food's awful. She calls it "the poison center." Especially bad dinners, like chicken Parmesan that's really just squished meat. All meats are greasy, veggies aren't fresh, etc. They keep the place nice to attract more people, but they're ignoring basic nutrition. Seems like they think their members are already dying, so why bother with healthy food? We're looking for a better place for my mom. We shouldn't have to shop and cook for her when she's paying for meals here. If you care about your loved ones' nutrition and happiness, don't bring them here. My mom's written lots of letters and made suggestions, but nothing's changed.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short in Professionalism and Care"
We were really let down by how they handled everything when our family member went into this place. They didn’t do things right during the start. They just talked to one family member and didn’t do any proper tests or check-ups. Nobody even from the medical team saw our family member. They just gave us some papers to fill out. These papers didn’t even let us explain that our family member needed help walking side by side. Because of this, she fell in the first week. Once when we visited, we couldn’t find our mom for a bit. It turned out she was left alone in her room in her wheelchair without the brakes on. The things they do for fun there are exciting, but they’re too much for people with advanced dementia. It just confuses them more.

"Great Assisted Living Experience"
We loved Ponte Palmero during our tour. Overall, excellent community. Staff care about residents. Dining room needs more staff, but food is good. Secure environment. Peace of mind for our loved one.

"Mom's Happy Place"
Ponte Palmer offers helpful staff, activities, cleanliness, and camaraderie. I wanted a place where my mom could get the help she needs. A nurse suggested Ponte Palmer, and it's been okay for her. The people who work there are usually nice, and they plan lots of things for the residents to do, like going out sometimes. Mom's apartment is always clean, and she likes the food options. She's also made some new friends. Overall, it's pretty decent.

"Disturbing Condition and Negligence at Assisted Living Facility"
I visited people at this assisted living facility and heard numerous complaints from them. One person claimed that the cleaning staff never cleaned properly, and I saw evidence of this when I noticed a dirty toilet that had not been cleaned week after week even though residents were paying for the service. The carpeting was heavily stained and was promised to be cleaned or replaced. However, for eight months, nothing was done and the carpet stayed as messy as the uncleaned toilet. One resident needed major help with bathing and dressing, and each time I came to visit, she was always in the same dirty dress, suggesting that she was sleeping in these clothes as well. Although I reported this issue, stating that she required help to get dressed in the morning and evening, the administration agreed but took no action. The whole facility was disgustingly dirty and the residents seemed neglected. I noticed residents losing weight every month and complaining about the food, which was not only poorly presented but also low in nutrition and amount. I wouldn't even feed it to my dog!

"Avoid Ponte: Poor Services, Absent Care, and Unpalatable Food"
I urge you, steer clear of this place. My sister and I made the mistake of moving our mother here and it's been a nightmare. They billed us for services that were never given. They constantly asked for more money for help they never provided. They would just pop into my mother's apartment, ask if she needed assistance getting dressed, and when she refused, they'd still charge us. My mother suffers from Alzheimer's yet, in a lot of ways, she's functional. She's also in denial about her need for assistance. She refuses all offers for help. She's ended up on the floor, sometimes for hours at a time. She once found herself in a puddle of her own urine. We had to rush her to the hospital, and guess what, their so-called cleaning service never bothered to clean up. Blood and urine were still there when we brought mom back from the hospital. The staff, although friendly, is too busy socializing with each other. And oh, the pendant! My mom was taught to use it in emergencies when she fell, but no one ever bothers to respond. The med lady finally showed up a whole half hour later. It’s clear that Ponte isn't safe for the elderly who need assistance. Even her doctor and his team have heard awful things about Ponte. I once met a staff member outside of Ponte, who confirmed that the place isn't great at all. They have a high staff turnover rate and treat their staff poorly. The food offered there is terrible and served in such tiny portions. I went with my mom once to visit a resident in the memory care unit. The food they received was cold and disgusting. I visited a resident in the lighthouse and saw the exact same thing. We were told our meals were the same. They weren't. A single chicken strip and old, frozen green beans- it was a disgusting sight. I'd be happy to answer any questions and tell you about our experience, so you can judge for yourself. Granted, the facilities are nice, their roomy apartments are a selling point. But this is no place for anyone who needs any level of care or assistance. Seek better options. If you treasure your loved ones, check the bills, look at the food, surprise them with visits, and notice the cleaning staff's inefficiency. This place has far too many problems than it can handle. It's clear that the management is interested in making money from families who don't check if the services promised are indeed being provided. Your loved ones surely deserve better.

"Perfect Place for Independent Living"
I really liked this place and wanted my dad to move here. It's more for independent living, which I think he needs. The apartment doors are on the outside, so it feels more private. They also have full kitchens in the apartments. Overall, this place was awesome.
