Prestige Assisted Living at Manteca

"Nice facility but rooms not great, rigid schedule, no church transport"
The assisted living facility appears pleasant. However, the rooms were not as impressive compared to other places we've looked at. The daily schedule is stricter than what my mom requires. Unfortunately, they do not provide transportation to church.

"Solid Choice for Senior Living"
We picked Prestige Assisted Living at Manteca because it seemed like the best option for the price. They have great amenities and a good memory care unit, which is where she stays now. There are lots of activities, and they're actually getting her involved. She has her own room, which is a good size for her. The only downside is that sometimes they don't call back quickly, so you might need to keep reminding them. Overall, I would recommend it to others who are looking.

"Exceptional Care but Communication Could Improve"
The community is really nice—clean, friendly, and well-kept. The meal planning is good, and the caregivers and med techs are exceptional. However, communication with the higher-level staff can be inconsistent, and they sometimes respond slowly to family concerns. My sister and I visited many places, but Prestige Care stood out and was a great choice for us. Overall, I would give them 5 stars.

"Not Ideal for Living"
The first impression wasn't great. When we walked in, the receptionist wasn't very friendly or helpful. The tour of the assisted living area was pleasant, but when we asked to see the memory care area, our contact hesitated. The area didn't smell or look clean, and there were repairs needed. Both my wife and I agreed this isn't where we'd want to live.

"Facility Care Concerns Due to Sudden Health Issues"
My family thought my loved one would stay there until July, but then her leg got infected. They couldn't continue caring for her, so we had to move her out. She stayed for only about 20 days.

"Affordable and welcoming assisted living with attentive staff and amenities."
We chose Prestige Senior Living in Manteca for my dad. After comparing many places, Prestige stood out as the best option. It's more affordable than other places we considered, even with the level of care he needs. Estee Nowak was great to work with, and all the caregivers are friendly. The dining room is nice, and my dad eats better there than at home. I'd recommend Prestige to anyone needing a safe place for their loved one.

"Mom's Health Improved and She's Safe with Personal Freedom"
This place has been amazing for my mom. Her health has really improved. She was struggling a lot living alone and eating poorly, but now she gets three meals a day, even if it's just a little. I don’t worry anymore about her eating spoiled food from leftovers. The move was tough, especially since she’s 92 and had to adjust to a new place and routine, but both she and her sister have said we should have done this years ago. It’s a huge relief knowing she is safe and has the personal freedom she needs. She doesn’t join social activities often, but that’s her choice, and that’s important.

"Friendly Atmosphere and Great Staff Make Manteca a Top Choice"
I was looking into options for a family member, and this place came up in my research. My brother-in-law and sister visit Manteca regularly. They love eating there and really like the friendly atmosphere. The staff at Manteca is great with everyone.

"Downfall of Once Great Assisted Living Facility"
Sadly, this place isn't what it used to be. It was once managed well with skilled people. But now, they're severely understaffed and it seems like they care more about the business than the well-being of the people who live here, their families, and the remaining good staff who haven't left yet. I truly hope they can do better.
