"Assisted Living Facility"

I recently had an experience at an assisted living facility, and I'd like to share my thoughts. Overall, the staff was friendly, but there were some significant issues that need improvement. 1. Medical Care: - While they attended to my loved one fairly well, I never witnessed them cleaning the facility. Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining a healthy environment. - Unfortunately, they weren't on top of medical care. This is concerning, especially in an assisted living setting. 2..Food Variety: - The food situation left much to be desired. An outside vendor brought in meals, and it seemed like scrambled eggs were on the menu almost every single day. We definitely needed more variety. - The meals felt too cookie-cutter, and the quality wasn't very high. Plus, they tended to overfeed my loved one, which made managing medications challenging. 3. Lack of Engagement: - The facility didn't do a good job encouraging my loved one to get out of her room and participate in activities. Social engagement is crucial for residents' well-being. - Additionally, they required 2-week quarantines every time my loved one had to leave for an appointment. While safety is essential, this felt excessive. 4. COVID-19 Control: - Unfortunately, they didn't handle COVID-19 well once it entered the building. Proper protocols and precautions are crucial to protect residents and staff. 5. Management Issues: - I don't believe the upper manager at Prestige is up to snuff. However, the regional manager was receptive and took action when I raised concerns. - Billing was a headache when we moved out, but the regional manager promptly resolved it. She was understanding and apologetic. 6. Nurse Misrepresentation: - The facility advertised having a nurse on staff, but in reality, she only handled administrative tasks. This felt like false advertising. - There was also an incident where no one was at the front desk during our later appointment. Safety procedures need improvement.

"Poor Communication and Mixed-Up Clothes in Assisted Living"

Stay away from this community. The staff hasn't talked to us at all. They let my loved one have more freedom because they thought they were independent. But my loved one's clothes got mixed up. I haven't heard anything about their fall. They should care more about memory care residents. I'm not happy with this place. Betsy hasn't said anything, and communication is poor.

"Assisted Living: Good Care, But Maybe Too Much for Some"

I liked the small community, but Dad got too much medical care. The caregivers were great. I picked this place because Dad was leaving the hospital and needed extra help, which I couldn't give him at home. It's better suited for people who need more help than Dad did.

"Great Assisted Living, But Pricey!"

I really liked this place. Everyone was friendly, the apartments were nice, and there were lots of fun things to do. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it’s so expensive! The app doesn’t mention an extra charge for care, which adds to the monthly cost. But overall, I still enjoyed it.

"A Wonderful Place for My Dad"

Compared to where my dad was last year, this place feels like heaven. He is happy, well cared for, and definitely not ignored. The staff is super friendly, always helpful, and available whenever you need something. My dad eats very well here. He’s enjoying playing bingo and making new friends. The place is always kept clean, inside and out. If I could, I’d give them a 10 instead of just 5 stars. I totally recommend this place!

"Warm, efficient care for dementia patients at Prestige Senior Living"

Everyone at Prestige Senior Living is so warm and kind to my aunt. They were really efficient and helpful when we arranged for her to move into memory care. The first few weeks were tough for her, but the staff did a great job communicating with us and supporting her during the transition. We always feel welcome when we visit. We especially appreciate their help when she has negative behavior due to her dementia. We know she is in the best place for her.

"Happy so far with care and living conditions"

Even though I haven't been here long, I'm quite happy with what I've experienced so far. The care has been decent, and the living conditions are well-maintained. I haven't been disappointed yet. I'll update my review after living here longer.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

The staff helping my loved one are really nice, but it’s a bit tough to reach the administrators. Assisted living is more affordable and better overall, but the food isn’t as good as in memory care. Also, they only use their own medication provider, so you can’t choose another one.

"Friendly Assisted Living, Some Room for Improvement"

This place really connects with families on a personal level. It's neat and easy on the eyes. The staff is super friendly and always available for questions or concerns. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this facility. It'd be even better if caregivers earned a little more. Sometimes they don't quite get the residents' needs, but that's probably true everywhere. Not everyone's personality clicks.

The place was really nice and had many things for Mom.
