"Staff and Facilities Shine, But Staffing Challenges Persist"

I really appreciate the friendly staff and the lovely facilities. However, sometimes the staffing levels in Memory Care are too low to meet all the residents’ needs promptly.

"Beautiful Assisted Living with Great Music!"

Sage Mountain Senior Living is a really pretty place. If you’re still active, they could use more exercise or fun things to do. They might have a new activities director now. The music for special occasions was awesome. I’d tell others to check out Sage Mountain.

"Unsatisfactory service and facilities in this assisted living home."

The staff here is not up to par. The showers are poor, and the medical techs aren't great. The laundry services are substandard. The nurse here doesn't do a good job. There's no full-time driver available, and there isn't phone service in the rooms. Only small furniture can fit inside the rooms. On average, it takes more than two hours for a caregiver to show up. All in all, I'd give this place one star.

"Impressive Exterior Deceives Patients Into Subpar Assisted Living Facility"

This spot might look nice from outside but inside it's completely different. My dad stayed here for two and a half years. The leadership team constantly changes. Care quality doesn't even deserve to be scored. They never have enough staff, despite their claims otherwise. Whenever a caregiver calls, there's always some excuse, which never matches up with what the bosses say. I spoke with the higher-ups twice about how poorly the place is run. They always promise to improve, but nothing changes. If you care about your family's well-being, don't bring them to this place. It's overpriced for the level of care they provide, and even the food is disgusting. Plus, COVID seems to be widespread among both staff and residents. But they'll try to deny that too.”

"The review summarizes the facility's incompetence, poor services, and unkept promises."

Ever since Sage Mountain started its operation, there's been endless disruptions. They've switched managers four times, been bought by a big corporation, lost a lot of employees, and let several cooks go. This place lacks in informing its residents and their families about major happenings. My parents are really unhappy with the quality of the food. They promised us "gourmet", but that's just not the case. Other weekly services like housekeeping and laundry either aren't done right or just skipped entirely. Despite my parents paying a lot of money, they're not getting the expected services. Management seems to just pass the blame and there's a clear lack of proper communication among staff, residents, and families about any changes or policies. We had thought this place, being new, would be perfect for our parents but, there's been countless disappointments. A place like this needs trust and unfortunately, they've failed us. Broken promises, undisclosed information, and failure to follow policies has left us scared for the safety of our parents.

"Unacceptable COVID Practices at Assisted Living Facility"

Currently, 41 residents and 20 staff at this facility have COVID. They're waiting for more test results, so the number of cases will probably rise. They weren't always taking steps to prevent COVID even though they said they would. Often, workers would come in without their protective gear or even take off their masks while working. They allowed residents to go home for the holidays, didn't make sure they quarantined, and didn't test them when they came back. Due to these actions, an outbreak started and by a certain date, it had spread to different parts of the facility when 3 residents started showing symptoms. Even then, they waited 4 days to test everyone, keeping families unaware that 22 residents and 16 staff had COVID. They then moved many residents into different rooms with just a bed, no personal items, no TV, and sometimes no phone to stay for over 10 days. This terrified many residents, and they were left alone, crying. The families were kept in the dark with no updates.

"Beautiful Facility with Poor Management and Communication, High Turnover"

This place looks nice, but the people running it aren't good at their jobs. Lots of caregivers come and go, and they don't talk well with families. It's sad because the place itself is great. There's a lot for the residents to enjoy.

"Great Assisted Living Option with Some Pet Amenities Limitations"

This place is amazing! The staff and facility are top-notch. The pet area is small, though, and lacks shade. Extra services cost a bit more, but they're flexible. Overall, it's a good option for long-term care.
