"Assisted Living Review"
This place takes good care of my loved one and tried to get them involved in activities at first. But now, the memory care unit doesn't offer many activities to keep residents engaged. They're really strict about pandemic rules for visitors. The administrator is caring and always answers our questions. Before the pandemic rules returned, they had enjoyable entertainment.

"Lovely Setting with Staffing Shortage"
It's a really nice place, but they don't have enough staff to take care of everyone. The people who work there are friendly. I believe they know what they're doing and care about the residents. However, there simply aren't enough staff members. The living spaces seem okay - it's clean and feels safe.

"Good Home Under Renovation, Has Amazing Staff and Garden"
I like this home a lot, but right now they're doing a bunch of big updates, so there's lots of construction. I'm confident when it's all done, it's gonna be awesome. They have rooms for sharing and single rooms too. The single rooms are a bit on the small side, but they're really cozy. The people living there seem really happy and keep busy with stuff to do. The workers are super nice and work well together. They also have the best garden I've seen.

"A Gloomy Visit to the New Assisted Living Home"
When I took a look around, I noticed a lot of things need fixing. This place just popped up. It was kind of a downer, with a dreary looking yard. The people living there needed a lot of help and it didn't seem like they fully grasped what was happening around them. The rooms weren't in great shape either. I planned a visit and showed up only for the person I was supposed to meet didn't know anything about it. I ended up getting shown around by someone else.

"Exceptional Care and Joyful Activities for Seniors"
My mother lived at Eden Villa for over four years, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she received. From the owner Michael and Director Laura to the caregivers and support staff, my mom, who was in her late 90s, got the most professional and loving care. She loved the bingo and blackjack games, exercise sessions, and other activities. The meals were not only nutritious but often delicious. There was also an in-house hairdresser who came once a week. Holidays were extra special with special meals and barbecues on the 4th of July, featuring professional entertainers in the garden. The beautiful, well-kept back garden was a year-round treat. Overall, I highly recommend Eden Villa and am very grateful for all they did for my mother.

"Eden Villa Betrays Trust, Accepts Then Rejects Aunt Same Day"
Totally agree with the Yelp review saying that Eden Villa is a phony. She accepted my great aunt last Thursday afternoon at 2pm. We were really happy about this because we live in Richmond District and this was just right for us. However, only a couple hours later, at 4PM, She broke it to my mom that we needed to look for "another community" for my aunt because Eden Villa supposedly couldn't take care of her. The first thing we mentioned was that my great aunt barely spoke English. She gave us a big thumbs up and claimed that Eden Villa had all the resources to help. Turns out, she only wanted to make a quick sale. We had no choice but to rush around the city looking for a new home for her that same night. Thank God we found one. But what kind of person treats a family this way? Eden Villa just waved off my 88-year-old aunt who's recovering from a broken femur. Our family feels tricked and this whole situation has been a huge burden. So, thanks for nothing, Eden Villa SF.

"Great place, but unexpected costs might be a problem"
We really liked it and were excited to move in. But Laura called last minute to tell me that the medical report had come in and our loved one needed more care than we expected. This raised the price too high for us right now. We might try again later because we really liked it.

"Great place with caring staff and lovely gardens"
Eden Villa is a safe and clean place with a cozy, not sterile, feeling. Natural light fills the hall and activity room. There’s a beautifully landscaped garden courtyard that residents and guests love. The activity calendar has lots of variety; the staff is professional, caring, and friendly. The residents come from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Eden Villa is a comfortable community that I highly recommend, especially for people like my loved one who needs help with daily activities.

"Exceptional Care and Fantastic Service!"
Finding the right place for a loved one was really tough. She could no longer take care of herself at home. But Eden Villa made this hard time a little easier. We checked out lots of other places and were shocked by what we saw! The staff here has been amazing so kind, caring, and professional! After running our own business for over 30 years, we can definitely see their excellence. They truly go above and beyond. The food is fantastic! They even planned a surprise birthday party for our loved one, and it was great. They served us the same delicious food that was on the menu. The activities are fantastic, and the garden is beautiful! We can visit anytime, and it’s always a great experience. There are no hidden surprises here, unlike other places we’ve seen.

"Caution - Unwelcoming Environment With Limited Activities, Beautiful Courtyard"
Beware - despite scheduling, they weren't ready for my tour. It felt more like a hospital or skilled nursing facility than a comforting home. Many of the residents didn't seem able to move around much; I kept hearing monitor beeps. Each room comes with hospital-style call buttons. The place lacked in activities or time for socializing, which I found disappointing. Some folks were huddled around the TV in the dining hall. They do have a gorgeous outdoor courtyard though. Plus, their pricing includes everything, even the dated furniture and hospital-style twin beds.
