"Clean and friendly assisted living, slightly distant location."
This place seemed pretty nice. It was a bit far from where we wanted, so we didn't pick it. But it looked clean and the people who worked there were nice and helpful.

"Dark, Unkempt Housing Dissatisfies"
I recently toured this place for a family member and I really didn't think it was clean or well-kept at all for all the people living there. It also seemed really sad and dark all over the building. My mom is much more energetic than everyone living there and there's no way I'd put her in a place like this.

"My Thought Of The Tour"
The people who took care of us at Serenity Haven were friendly. The house was neat, and it felt pleasant. However, we discovered another care home that we preferred.

"Facility Misses Mark with Inadequate Night-Time Supervision"
They didn't meet our expectations. We assumed they'd be providing adequate care but sadly, that wasn't the case. In just a week, a fall resulted in a broken hip and ultimately led to her passing. Instead of calling 911, they simply rang to ask if I could come get her. The administrator, was there when the ambulance arrived. He told me he was upset that his wife hadn't called the ambulance first, something he had addressed with her previously. The place wasn't staffed 24/7 with wide-eyed carers. Although the staff were kind and good people, we felt that there wasn't as much oversight as we expected. This place might be fine if you're bed-bound, but if you have someone who needs frequent monitoring, especially at night, this facility might not be the best fit.
